To all the haters. His pc case was designed with functionality in mind. You see, when ya boi is gaming at all hours of the night. He needs his espresso in his coffee to keep him awake.
This is neither a very late reply nor any direct critique, rather just a "heads up" to anyone watching this "for advice". Please be aware that this "procedure" is a "Bit Dodgy" and should not be undertaken without proper "considerations" Let me ""explain"" a single Molex connector is only ""rated"" for a load of 54Watts !! (Meaning this is what the standard demands, it is NOT necessarily what Your PSU can deliver ... continuously)) AND the connector that is being replaced is a PCIE connector, which is rated for 75 Watts.... This is why "commercial MOLEX-TO-PCIE" ALWAYS should be AT least 2xMOLEX for each PCIE connector...AND why You, if You use such a "adapter" should NOT put any other devices on the MOLEX leads that You use for this purpose.... ((As a side note we see the PSU driving ONLY the Graphic card is "pulling" 100Watts... And even if this PSU is "very inefficient" that still makes me suspect that the Graphic card draws WELL over the rated 54Watts that the MOLEX is RATED for.. Which in turn makes me believe that if he uses it this way for extended periods the PSU could very likely fail...Of course whether it does depends on many factors, Quality of the PSU, character of the load, "cooling/ventilation" of the PSU...quality of the Power supplied to the PSU... etc etc. Now if You choose to only use 1 MOLEX to power Your PCIE, everything MIGHT still be "All fine and well". BUT for that to be the case You MUST be CERTAIN that 1) You are sure You have measured the "Maximum draw" AND that You have a "GOOD Power supply" that actually is "up to the task" of driving a GPU that is likely "pulling more power" than the manufacturer ""expected"" as they only put Molex connectors on their leads... And 2) That there are no other "detrimental factors" that You might have missed, that could "worsen Your use case" SO Yea in short this "Can work" but it can also FAIL with rather catastrophic consequences (possibly killing PSU and or Gfx Card and or motherboard... etc etc ... So "tread carefully.".. Best regards.
Don't forget that the PCIE slot itself supplies up to 75 watts as well. Not that I recommend molex connectors, but it's probably not too much of a load being pulled through it.... It'll get warm, but with luck, that's it
Damn brother, you are willing to tinker with just about anything- I get it completely, Us tweakers love to tinker! You go balls to the wall though, man. Tinker safe, Tweak safer
Note this is for mid range gpu and not for high end gpu as those will use too much wattage on a single molex. Even my Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX would even be too much for one molex. This is for idiots that just skip to the part when you start cutting the wire
U don't need that plastic at the end of second connector 2 graphic card, i had only one original connector from power... Connect that one jack, then bridge those whires from that connected to that free slot on graphic card, only thing to whatch is to try to use original whires and to stable connect it, enjoy.
You can normally get a adapter from molex to 8pin on ebay or amazon. You might also have to get a dual molex to a 6pin and a 6 ping to a 8 pin adapter.
Wait... really? Who paid for the GPU? Was it you, or your parents? Did you calmly explain to them that for the (probably quite expensive) graphics card to work, you need a cable?
+Asif Khan that is a 250w psu, but since that gpu wasn't doing much and pulling most of its power from the slot, the gpu needed about 50w from the wall max.
+Asif Khan one what? You plug the gpu into the pcie slot on the motherboard and it will work fine. If there is a power connector on the gpu plug it in to the psu. Any modern psu should have the needed connectors.
@@ElectronicsWizardry i know this post is old but a lot of older power supplies only have 20+4 and a single 4 pin that's it .... no six pin or eight pin at all especially OEM supplies as they rarely need any more connectors then 24 and 4 pin power and motherboard sources just saying.
love the fact thar you pc is in an expresso machine
To all the haters. His pc case was designed with functionality in mind. You see, when ya boi is gaming at all hours of the night. He needs his espresso in his coffee to keep him awake.
why is your pc in a espresso machine
was wondering the same thing
i thought i was the only one who was thinking that lol
shawn zorzenon yeah WTF XD
It's his case
That's pretty cool xD
That's called the coolest case.
..........i cant lie that case is actualy kinda cool

Nice while playing and your pc is really hot you have a espresso
like por la cafetera ordenador // like for the Coffee pc

Thumbs up for the espresso machine LOL!

Nagyon mély a videóklipp, megértem, top vagy tesóm, így tovább!!!👌✌💯‼🔝🔊
Yes nice but you could have bought this adapter for like 3-5 dollars easily.
😂 That's beautifully done dude.Unique Case
Did you just have your rig recently reviewed by Timmy Joe or Bitwit?
How can i use 2 molex, from old PSU, connect to pcie 8 pin, to connect to my gpu ? please show a video about that. ?
have u checked if u have a hefty enough PSU?
U don't need that plastic at the end of second connector 2 graphic card, i had only one original connector from power... Connect that one jack, then bridge those whires from that connected to that free slot on graphic card, only thing to whatch is to try to use original whires and to stable connect it, enjoy.
can you make another video that can explain about the wiring ? thx
nice chasis.... loved it
lol you edit the most important part. when u say how conect the cables
ground are all black cables, positives are all yellow
god tier rig
Can you please tell me your GPU name pls
Ok. nice vid. Wait.. Woot? esspresso-mod.
Can your PC make coffee?
You need to clean your desk up
How much power does your supply have??
mine has 450W is it enough???
Its a 250watt but it's only powering the gpu so it's not than enough.
+ElectronicsWizardry I have an 450w psu it's old and it does not have 8 pin connector!!,how can i make it run the graphics card GTX 960 MSI
You can normally get a adapter from molex to 8pin on ebay or amazon. You might also have to get a dual molex to a 6pin and a 6 ping to a 8 pin adapter.
I thought you will say that!!!
But if you connect from 6 to 8 is there enough power is not losing???
bro i have order a new graphic card gtx 1050 can it support external psi cable
+Asif Khan most 1050s don't need a external pcie cable and if it does use the one already on the psu
I feel foolish
Can i have the molex to 6 pin cause my parents wont let me get one for my graphics card
Wait... really? Who paid for the GPU? Was it you, or your parents? Did you calmly explain to them that for the (probably quite expensive) graphics card to work, you need a cable?
@@randominternetbro6562 i did that but there frickin stupid and i bought it off of ebay thinking that my power supply had the connector
keep fresh batteries in your smoke detector
how much is your psu watt
+Asif Khan that is a 250w psu, but since that gpu wasn't doing much and pulling most of its power from the slot, the gpu needed about 50w from the wall max.
can use external pcsi
+Asif Khan you don't need external pcie. It's all going to be inside your computer
It safe or not ?
+Shahrin Reza I have never had a problem with it. It's pulling the max power over a molecular connector but shouldn't hurt anything.
A coffee machine...more surprised at the clutter how can u game with clutter..
u sound like fron nyc
i have only one which is conected to my mother board bro

molex on 5v rail, pcie is on 12v rail, delete this video please
Worthless video.. Did not give us information which. Which wires connects to which wires
Should have got cables without sleeving.
