I have a hard time finding men that are into more extreme metal at this age! (I am in my 40's). I remember I was the the only death metal chick back in the 90s in my high school. There were maybe 4-5 guys who listened to it in my class. I am guessing that there are more women and men on average in most high schools today that listen to it. People have access to more music all over the world now. I used to listen to death metal Saturday nights on my little radio from a college radio station.
@@jaynegill7257haha. Im 50 but i remember the changes of stylrs and genres. You had the regular rock like huey lewis, a-ha thr cars, hair bands came out like bon jovi, dokken,skid row. You had progressive metal mixed in like Queensryche, dream theater. Thrash got bigger with Suicidal Tendencies, Slayer, Exodus Megadeth and stuff that followed Metallica. Death metal came out with bands like bolt thrower,, deicide,morbid angel, death, sepultura. Junior high one minute we listened to hair bands the next was listening to metallica. Now as i was graduating grunge music started coming in with Alice n chains and Nirvana.. memories last. You are correct kids nowdays can look up anything. Its download able. We had to go to Strawberries, Coconuts, Sam Goody, Fye, Sarurday Matinee etc to find cassette tapes then it was cd's..😂😂🤣🤣
@@jidhaziq9185 They most certainly can. I notice a lot of bands make subtle changes to their songs when playing live, just to show people that they aren't lip synching.
@@midnightkitty8172 It is not about lip synch. You can record 10 different versions of one song and still lip synching live. They are making changes because studio session doesn't stop evolution of the song.
Amazing. Great front line. And the gal on bass is totally committed to that Cronos / Abbath / Gene Simmons stagecraft. She knows she has to 'go big' and totally nails every pose and every expression with demonic glee. Superb. They'll be huge.

Literally jus saw this band live 2 hours ago w Morbid Angel and holy fck making eye contact with Fernanda during their performance was an extremely surreal experience Lol they're amazing people and she's so fkn gorgeous
1- Luv the trading off of the guitar solos ( If only the camera was on the right soloist ) 2- Luana ‘s calm , controlled style similar to Martin Lopez ( Soen , Opeth ) 3 - Fernanda ‘s facial expressions 10/10 👌🏻

@@Rosald777 I mean it's subjective. Echoes of the Soul is one of my favorite album of the last couple years, not just in DM but in general. Their approach just "clicked" in a way that others didn't. With most of the stuff I heard lately, I had the same reaction you had here.

They are classified as a Death metal band, but they sound way more like black metal to me. To me they sound like what a really good black metal band should sound like if more of them took their musicianship seriously. With all of the tremolo picking and the high vocal growls their sound is a lot closer to black metal than death metal. The musicianship is more like death metal tho. Great stuff ladies you got a new fan.
