They way I interpret this video/song is that Lara represents a morphine high... and the video is about a man who will sacrifice everything, piece by piece, to reach that high... you can see him with her.. then he wakes up in the bathtub.. then you see him struggling to get back to her... at first he was willing to cut if a finger... then his entire arm, and so on.. until the addiction and the high (Lara) completely consumes him and he loses his life to the addiction.

Hi Rollen, great video and the song is powerful. I find that you are very insightful in the analysis of what happens in this film. For me it's too complicated. I see it as something esoteric and referring to mythology. In any case, when Lara sings this song on stage, she has a lot of fun.
