A UFC fighters training camp is 6 weeks of pushing their bodies to the brink, day in and day out and there are a lot of fighters that use something during camp and most will stop about 2 weeks ahead of fight, give or take a few days depending on the fighter. Also, fighters have to maintain a strict diet in order to make weight in their division so no fighter wants to gain muscle mass since they can't get rid of muscle like they do water(95% of a fighters weight cut is water mass) and extra muscle means quicker lactic acid build up which equals less cardio. That's why you rarely see a fighter that is jacked because you sacrifice more and more cardio every pound they gain of muscle. So yeah, Jones only benefit from his use is in training camps to help his body recoup day in and day out for 45 days!
