@forwheelinallday: I used to think the same but after reading his entire interviews he seems pretty legit. Brushy Bill's testimony gives details of Billy the Kids early life that fabrication seems very unlikely. Simply put....he would have no reason to lie and at that point in his life nothing to gain from it

@@scott6828 The information Brushy gave was very easily fabricated. A lot of what he said was information that was readily available in Garrett's book and a dozen or so movies had already been produced before Brushy's death. Many of his claims were painted in broad strokes, giving very few unknown details and with little to no nuance. Plus, he claimed to be left-handed because of the tin type photo of Billy. It wouldn't be until AFTER Brushy's death that it was discovered (actually rediscovered, as several newpapers who printed the picture during Billy's life, and even after, reversed the tin type so the image was shown the correct way) was a mirror image, and Billy was actually right-handed. Apparently Brushy never got that memo because he mentioned that, although he could shoot with both hands, he always favored his left. Many of us who grew up watching the Young Guns movies, especially the 2nd film, fell in love with the idea that Brush was, in fact, Billy the Kid. The story had been long-forgotten because it was proven in the 1950's that Brushy Bill was NOT Billy the Kid. Leave it to Hollywood to print the myth.

There will always be the crazies out there MAG. Gutted you stopped your live streams but understand why you did. The day before you stopped I’d emailed you that ghostly image in Nolan’s book beside the workbench presumed to be where Billy was laid on after been shot and killed. P.S I think PUPILS was Billy Bonney 😉

I apologize. I couldn't find the episode on your site that you apologize for Billy. The kid not being rushed bill Roberts, however I. Also was 26 years old and in the military long before I ever filled out. I went from a 175 pounds to 250. My shoulders filled out. My chest filled out my legs filled out. It's as if I went through puberty all over it again or never went through it to begin with. But this very well can't happen. It did happen with me. And I really appreciate the fact that you had that other guy on there and improve your point. Thank you

Ahhh, I am listening to you talk about a cabinet card. I am all set to seee it ans waaa-waaa-waaaaa, no bueno. lol. Your episode on Miller answered some quesions if they are true. I knew Miller's adopted but much loved son was a World War l vet. The Army being a bungling mess then as when I was in sent the Millers' a notice their son was missing in action. Their boy came back and they where all reunited. After Isadora dies in the fire Miller went downhill fast. His dementia got worse. His son is the one who had him moved to the retirement home. Someone said the trunk Miller had was sent to an Indian Reservation when he died. His adopted son was a Navajo and may have moved there. It tied up a loose end for me if true. They would know how to find his son and his son did visit him at the retirement home. As Miller's demenyia got worse he would say he was Bily. Before his wife claimed it, he would deny it when sober. He would claim it when drunk but then the next day deny it stating he was just tunnin'. Miller always kept a rifle by the door and was never unarmed according to the old timers of the areas he lived. He and Isadora moved a lot. Today, that may suggest someone looking over his shoulder over past deeds. It may have back then but from what I have read it wasn't uncommon either.
There allegedly is no official record of John Miller before his marriage to Isadora in August 1881. John Miller was noted to be recovering from a gunshot wound somewhere oh his chest. Miller was exhumed by the State of Arizona. In an exhumation picture you can see his skull and the buck teeth. There was allegedly DNA taken. The University of Arizona (I believe it was them) refused to release the data claiming it was intellectual property. I question why they would do that. If he was just a guy using the alias John Miller the who cares just say it. But if it was someone well known they may have a reason. There would be push back to not release the info as it could financially hurt people who depend on the Billy the Kid story and the tourism it brings.
When Garrett< Poe and McKinney went to Maxwell's house they would have went around looking in to see if there was any threat in there, like Billy. Any Police Officer with any sense would. I still have a theory that Billy was already in the house. He was shot and killed and the story was changed to protect reputations. The problem is they made the story pretty much unbelievable. Billy in socks walking about 1000' doing up his pants while holding a revolver and a knife. Then in a bright moon lit night walks by two armed anglo men who for no reason at all are posted at the front gate of the Maxwell's. Billy then walks in and asks in Spanish multiple times who it was that was there to Pete. Pete diesn't answer and Billy just keeps asking. BS. That story they concocted is what sparked the theory Billy lived. And if Miller is William McCarty the powers that be will never let it be known. And maybe when Miller wasn't racked by dementia that is what he told his son he wanted, not to be remembered as Billy the Kid. It makes for a better story than most.

Though you can see the base of the stand that was used for post mortem stand alone photos by his feet, people who believe brushy was Billy also say stand alone post mortem photos was a myth even though there’s photographic proof of other stand alone post mortem photos that show stand alone photos not to be a myth at all one being of a deceased child.
You can also see Billy’s missing trigger finger, something people did back then was to cut off part of that persons trigger finger to sell by placing the finger in a jar with fluid to preserve it.
And for brushy to say he was Billy is very debatable considering brushy was two years old when Billy died not to forget Billy was born in New York where brushy was born in Texas but I guess that’s a cover up to hide brushys true identity lol, I’m surprised brushy didn’t go around saying he was Santa Claus shocking thing about that is that people would most likely believe him.

@@MankindMediaLLC No, I understood that. I was just making the point that the stand would be in a photographers shop because post- morytem photography was a thing then. I never suggested that he was dead. Just that that would be a common thing to see in a photographers shop then. There are youtube channels about it.
