Have to let you know that I ordered 2 bags of assorted trees. LOTS of trees off Amazon . It took me 4 days to dye them pink, blue, green and left some white but I was diligent in getting them done as there were so many. I now have enough to last me months and months. This was quite a project and I am so glad to be done but so happy to be able to use them in my assemblages. Thank you for sharing the way to dye them !!!!!
There is NEVER enough glitter! My house, the people in it and the dogs have glitter on them from October to March. This project was adorable-you have such an eye for the perfect details.
Super gorgeous and some of my favorite colors. I use traditional colors of red, green, white, silver for most of my Christmas decorations but do prefer to keep my bedroom the creamy whites, beige with touches of pastel shades. Those tree colors would work! Notice you have another new subscriber named Diane. I know there are more out there in TH-cam land so please subscribe to this talented, sweet lady.
Hi!!! Thank you so so much!! I have been waiting for this video . You are just amazing . I can’t wait to get the supplies to do this. I will be making these all weekend .. I’m in love with the pink trees . So sweet of you to share this with us . Thank you again, Have a wonderful weekend 🎀🎄🎀
So Adorable! I was hoping you'd do the bottle brush trees! Thanks. BTW... Have you ever used vintage tart tins for your assemblages? I found a bunch at my local thrift shoppe and was look for ideas. 😊
I love your bottle brush trees. I would like to put some tree decorations on some and while l was watching you l thought of 2-3mm pearl beads. I love decorating trees, and l love the glitter. That little jewelry box was adorable.
Oh my goodness, I missed this video coming out! Tami, I love these trees and the field trip tutorial! More Christmas and show your crafting storage, supplies whenever possible! Love you!💕
Absolutely LOVED this video !! Actually I love all of them! This will be my next project. Always look forward to your videos. You are by far my favorite to follow and have ordered from you before. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas, Love all of them !!!!
Hi Tami...just found your channel the other day and was wondering if maybe I could be an honorary member of Aubrie's glitter club? Glitter is everywhere in my home all year long, even in the caulk around my bathtub....I have been decorating my bottlebrush trees just like you do but I have a few suggestions for you...I keep my glitter in a container that used to hold lunchmeat in it ...they're about 5x6 inches and not very deep, just long enough to even keep a plastic spoon inside which is perfect for sprinkling the glitter on whatever...saves on having it all over you fingers and no need to sprinkle the glitter over a paper plate. I just roll my trees around in the glitter to hold as much as possible. I usually paint my trees using glitter glue or school glue which is a whole lot cheaper than Mod Podge and then roll them around in the glitter. Love your work and am inspired to get my act together and make a dent in the mini craft store in my basement.
I think you qualify to be CEO of the Glitter Club!! lol I love your container tip!! Thank you for sharing that with all of us and Welcome! I am so happy you are here & thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful comment too.
I was so lucky to run across a lot of these at a market & I finally sold out of them. You might be able to find them on ebay but other than that I haven't seen them anywhere. Thank you so much for asking!
Hi, Tami! This is so freaking cute that I ordered some tiny trees from eBay. I will be having some Easter egg dye left. Could I possibly use that? Thanks!!
@@CreativegirlVintage Might be a bit too strong, but I will experiment and let you know! If it works, it will be a great way to recycle some of the egg dyes that go down the drain.
I did the experiment with Easter egg dye and it worked WONDERS ! I just stuck the tree in momentarily as this was an experiment, and it came out ADORABLE. I rinsed it right away to see if the dye came off and it didn't. I also used the blue dye and it was GORGEOUS, too. (I will try the other colors later.) Use your leftover Easter dye, guys, before you dump it down the drain! In my case, since I dye eggs anyway, it was less expensive than buying a dye. And because the dye contains vinegar, you can keep it for at least a year! I also ordered the glitter from Tami's link and it is PHENOMENAL! It makes everything so precious, just as you see in Tami's vids.
Hi Beth! according to the package it is safe and non toxic. You can even use it in your washing machine to dye large pieces! Important question so thanks for asking!
Hi Amy! I had these boxes in stock for so long and just recently sold out of them. I am so sad that I can't offer them anymore as they were so popular. I don't know where else you can find them. Thank you so much for asking!
I hear you. Sometimes I will do a final coat of Gloss ModPodge on something I glitter to keep it in place. I think it takes some of the sparkle away but it still has a nice look.
Another precious creation. and so clever with the jewelry box! Thank you so much for showing us the dye process--How did you blunt the top of the trees?

Hi, Tami! This is so freaking cute that I ordered some tiny trees from eBay. I will be having some Easter egg dye left. Could I possibly use that? Thanks!!

Just wondering, is the dye non-toxic? It’s not good to pour anything down the drain if it has a lot of chemicals. Love your tutorials! Thank you!
Hi Beth! according to the package it is safe and non toxic. You can even use it in your washing machine to dye large pieces! Important question so thanks for asking!
Do you happen to have any more boxes for sale or know where I can get some this is such a sweet project I want to make
Hi Amy! I had these boxes in stock for so long and just recently sold out of them. I am so sad that I can't offer them anymore as they were so popular. I don't know where else you can find them. Thank you so much for asking!
What can I spray the glitter with so it doesn't shed? Any ideas? Nothing worse than glitter shedding!
I hear you. Sometimes I will do a final coat of Gloss ModPodge on something I glitter to keep it in place. I think it takes some of the sparkle away but it still has a nice look.
