If he doesn't get signed in the next 2 years he will just wait to get paid in the top of the market and will be asking for a trade the last two years of this deal in my opinion
@@lesboatright8364 well that's the point. If it was the end of the contract the Braves would not stand a chance of signing him for a team friendly deal. It could be another 50 yrs before the Braves have a player like him again
@@lesboatright8364 a player of his value it's very difficult to get true trade value. Look at Othani. Angels didn't trade him because no one was offering true value. These are unicorns were talking about here not dime a dozens.
@@lesboatright8364 it will be very hard to get true trade value for Acuna since his value is too high. Look at Othani. Teams wanted him but were not willing to pay his value when the Angels briefly put him on the trade block.. These are unicorns where talking about here
No doubt acuna is great but his contract request could destroy the team why sign a multi year contract just to demand another in midstream id play him this year and trade him for multi top prospects yall scorn me if you want but this is the smartest move as well the aggression he plays with i believe hes injured this year so its a tuff spot
Great show today as always, interesting content and thanks for your insights. GO BRAVES ⚾
Thanks
Go Braves!!!!
I want to see results. Results begin with tying your shoe laces on the first day
Sale is a freakin dog! Stay healthy boys!!
Is being a dog good or bad?
The only reason I would be in favor of extending Acuna now, is what will be top dollar in 3-5 years. 40-60 per year

Yeah but hes not at the end of his 1st contract anything could happen injury would be huge no play this year and get tons of trade value

He didn't request a contract. He was asked about his contract status. Big difference
@@KrisWillis well you read something different than me but if wrong i stand corrected
And whats the difference if he wasnt seeking a change why would he ask
