2:27 This phone holder is useless, it will likely fail after few uses, mine did the phone fell off, but I caught it, but the plastic part at the bottom failed at the pivot. But no logner an issue for me as I have an actual camera now.Another thing to note is the included tool is is easy to lose. I lost mine. But I should've secured it with a string.

Good point. I didn't subject it to the most rigorous testing because I rarely use my phone (for video, photos, or anything else).

I love mine (I’ve had two after losing one). That said, the case is weak - the attachment points frayed on my first one and the zipper snapped on the second. The phone clamp (in the center column) also disintegrated in short order on my first one; the one on my second tripod hasn’t seen much use.

Good points. Thanks for providing your experience! In truth I didn't use the phone clamp much as I don't shoot with my phone at all, whether video or stills.

I opted for the Alu version as I wanted something that could handle a hard impact As sometimes I take it with me on a mountain bike, but usually only on shorter rides, due to my back problems, added weight. but if I'm not riding long and my back is not in trouble and nothing gnarly it's fine. Which hasn't happen yet. I got mine on sale, got a great deal. I mostly used the tripod indoor.
The hook holds a backpack well.

I have actually knocked the tool out before while unloading it from my car. Not a huge deal but it does reinforce the idea of keeping that tools elsewhere when in the field.

Okay, now I'm really going to keep it in my bag! Thanks for the comment!

I considered that tripod, but went with the Magnus TR-13. No regrets...saved a lot of money.

Yes, you definitely don't have to spend a lot to get a decent tripod these days. In fact my larger tripod as you can see in the video is still an aluminum one, after everyone else was going carbon fiber. I never found it to be a serious problem, but I'm not a frequent tripod user either.

3:46 I bought one, now I have to decide on a ball head.

I will say the tripod case is well designed too. Super snug but I’ve never had an issue getting the tripod back in. Also, it has connection points designed to be attached to the other Peak Design bags for easy travel.

Hanging a bag from the hook under the tripod¡ The bag will catch the wind like a sail and rock your tripod. Stabilize it another way.

I didn't mean make it hang, I meant a bag securely on the ground with a taught cable to the bag. I just didn't want to explain that.
