- This is probably Zimbabwe's most well known - and LOVED Christian song and dance. "Tambira Jehovah" is Shona for "Dance for the Lord"
It comes from one of Zimbabwe's largest, most loved and fastest growing congregations --- which also happens to be the Sister-Church to my church(Christembassy).
Pastors Tom Deuschle and Bonnie Deuschle (the lady singing in the video) head this church which has its HQ in Borrowdale, Harare in Zimbabwe.
The song is from one of the Hear the Word CD's.

This is the fanny thing about languages. "Tamba" in Malawian language Chichewa means practicing witchcraft. In Zambia means watching a film or watching something. In Zimbabwe "Tambira" means dancing.

Dancing for the Lord is a Powerful Answer to most difficult questions of the world because out of it, joy, healing and help comes from.
Am in Kenya,Africa for Jesus! Praising God in an African way! Thank you Jehovah for preserving Africa to worship and praise you. And greater things are yet to come.
