I've watched this episode 20 or more times because I love that Costa Rican cc and the story behind it. My boys are 4 and 7 so I'm just getting them offshore on my boat. Looking forward to a similar DIY project to do with them in a couple years.

Having owned both a mono hulled and a catamaran hulled boats once you change over to a cat, you never look back, they simply ride the seas better, a more stable fishing platform and with their shallower draft in the water are more fuel efficient. I could write a laundry list of advantages.

there are better epoxies like PROFORM PF7779 meant for fiberglass and plastic. Started 1973 been in the buz little longer than yous. Wont 5200 release in extreme heat??? like florida and south
