That is true. I'm ethnic Chinese. While age hierarchy IS part of Chinese culture, it is not as strictly enforced as it is in Korean culture. If the age gap between two persons is large (say, 10 years), then yes, the younger individual would likely use more appropriate language and tone as a sign of respect for the older individual. But of course, I'm speaking broadly here. Chinese culture would differ between countries and regions as well. I'm thinking that WayV seems closer, or may be able to build closer relations more quicklly, because they see one another as equals, and that helps to remove reservations and fear of disrespect.

I realised that NCT 127 & Dream's contents usually have scripts but WayV doesn't have. They seem more free and unrestricted here.
They probably have to, they just don't really care about it that much, it seems like for them it's more like a guide, like briefly telling them what will happen next etc.
I dont think NCT 127 and NCT Dream contents have scripts.. They just used to korean variety shows.. Thus they flow like it.. Even whenever its Haechan or Doyoung being MC in NCT Daily videos.. They would be like a proper MC.. I think its because they used to it.. This episode is almost similar to their Winwin and Yutas birthday celebration(NCT127) and Mark graduation day(NCT Dream) all are freeflow kinda content(maybe there are agendas due to time limit but definitely not scripted)

If the age gap between two persons is large (say, 10 years), then yes, the younger individual would likely use more appropriate language and tone as a sign of respect for the older individual. But of course, I'm speaking broadly here. Chinese culture would differ between countries and regions as well. I'm thinking that WayV seems closer, or may be able to build closer relations more quicklly, because they see one another as equals, and that helps to remove reservations and fear of disrespect.
