You have done a fabulous job for a even seasoned gardener! I grow herbs, tomatoes, various peppers, green beans, zuchinni, squash and pumpkins(my favorite). I have had such a harvest that I diced up lots of my zuchinni and squash and put into freezer bags. I also did the same with all of our peppers so nothing went to waste. I don't see how you accomplish all that you do. Love your videos ❤

Hi Lauren❤️ tell chewy, we love him so much! You are not only an outstanding mom, but you are an outstanding fur mom!!! You have so much kindness and strength inside you. I don’t have any children. I have a cat and a dog. And my dog often has issues with her health. It declines every so often. She has pancreatitis and when she is sick, I am almost paralyzed to the point where I can barely do anything go anywhere because my mind is Completely in the gutter. You Honestly, give me a lot of strength! You are an amazing example for women like myself. Thank you for sharing your life with all of us. Sending you lots and lots of love and hugs.❤
I'm literally on the edge of my seat waiting for you to do fall stuff.And you were saying the clothes were wet story of my life my washer and dryer are in the basement and sometimes gets forgotten about and I have to rewash things it's a struggle

Hi Lauren, loved all your content as usual. I only have a flower garden of perennials this year. Also I have a very long lovely front porch with big geranium hanging baskets all along the roof. Then big ceramic pots filled with flowers on the porch floor. I won’t be decorating for fall till September but I love seeing your beautiful decor each season. I’m feeling very sorry for Chewy and your family. One of my two kitties, 10 year old female has sarcoma cancer which has metastasized. I love her so much and it’s just hurts knowing I won’t have her much longer.
I’m gardening this summer, I have 3 varieties of tomatoes, snap peas, pole beans, and pumpkins. The rest of mine are flowers for the pollinators and hummingbirds. I love seeing your chickens, and all the progress on your garden. You are very inspiring. And I like to watch your videos to get me motivated and moving. ❤

There was a pepper seed mix-up at the seed company facilities. Many types of peppers were involved. I bought bell peppers and ended up with 3 different types of peppers and one is really really hot.
Summer isn't over yet, going to savor the moment..lol! I've never seen so many people decorating for fall so early..I've never seen the stores selling fall items so early though.. I think I'll wait till September for me to decorate..but I'll enjoy watching everyone else get ready and share some ideas..thanks for sharing today! Happy weekend!

Our neighbor has a garden every year and he gives us plenty. I have a big bowl in kitchen from where he is blessing us with his harvest daily, he grows garlic too. Beginning to go down in the 60's at night IN THE BURGH; in a few weeks I know it will begin to go down in the 50's, then Cold in PENNSYLVANIA. Of course waiting to see what you do with your Fall Season. STTB 2XS

Wow this is your first year gardening?! You had a great first harvest(s)! I garden we are in a new home so I'm on a learning curve as well with the animals that keep eating my baby plants. California does have a great climate to grow plants.

We have a few tomato plants .But our okra is really producing. We have put up about 8 gallons in the freezer for smothered okra in the winter and to use in seafood gumbo.. Cucumbers coming out the Yaya.... We We have 15 blooms on our eggplants.. The bell peppers didn't do so good this year. And a family of raccoons got into our corn and ate it all..We had to tear them down.

Proud of you becoming a gardener! I used raised containers on my patio and harvested a lot of tomatoes! But then the heat and rain came. Too much water was not good on the leaves and it was so hot the tomatoes were baking on the vine! Maybe I will have better luck with a fall crop!

I’m not a garden person but in the process of landscaping my front yard and then backyard. It’s so much work but doing a little at a time. I try not to decorate for fall until October which is very difficult, but I don't like the same decorations up for 3 months. I have Tiki/ tropical decorations for August. September I do fiesta/peppers and stuff since I have so many garden things around and chili peppers look awesome with cute chili lighting. My tomatillos also are ready to harvest then so I do a party and make lots of tamales with green sauce and mexican food to sample all the hot sauces I make that month.
Summer break in southern Germany just started! We have a beautiful garden, but also tons of snails who eat all of our plants, so we hardly ever grow something. Also, this summer has been really cool and rainy so far. I always like your videos and stories ❤
Brought to tears by Chewy's update. Poor lil guy. I have 2 dogs of my own, and know how devastating it is when they are not well. Yes, just keep giving him a lot of love, and keep him as comfortable as possible. I will keep him in my prayers. You certainly have a lot on your plate. Love your precious baby for as long as you can. Our time with our fur babies is so, so short. About fall, I started decorating, mostly by accident, lol. I was just going to put out some pops of color, but ended up falling down the rabbit hole, and now my livingroom looks like a disaster zone! I'll get it all done, but it's going to take time, 'cuz I have a lot of fall decor!
I've started decorating for fall. I've got a tablescape, coffee bar, and cozy pillows sprung about as of now I just moved to Hawaii, and definitely going to miss the changing of the leaves this year.

I don’t decorate for Fall until mid September, Winter in Colorado is so long I try to hang on to Summer as long as possible. That said I do have late summer decor with dried sunflower wreaths and bouquets, a bit more muted colors than Summer. Love to Chewy! 🥰

Hi Lauren, I am also new at gardening other than planting a few herbs. I planted pickling cucumbers by accident but I am having a lot of fun making dill pickles and bread and butter pickles. I also have made pickled jalapeños from my peppers. I have thyme, rosemary, basil, cilantro and dill as well as parsley and orange mint. I planted small variety of tomatoes since the growing season for me is short. I have two raised garden boxes that I ordered on Amazon. I really love them. 😍
Lol I did the same thing!! They hurt to harvest! I will do so much more next summer, I asked my husband to build me another large bed, so that will be exciting!

I love it.. when she hears me she starts to run over, The other day my husband and I were chatting in the backyard and she jumped on a bush so she could see me. Chuy is getting so much love, I cried loving him last night, it is getting harder.
I have not started decorating yet. I typically do not start until after Labor Day. This year will probably only be my porch getting some decor because we have been doing some remodeling/updating in our house so it is a mess. I am glad we are able to do the upgrades, but it gets very stressful living in chaos for months at a time. Love your videos. Thanks for sharing!

Everyone here loves Lauren, and I’m sure she can get something good from each persons comments. Different opinions are very helpful when your stuck trying to figure out your next move. I’m a designer, and I am particularly interested in hearing what people don’t like because often the reasons are well thought out, and passionate responses and reactions to things are exactly what you need to identify-that’s what makes a successful project. Anticipate the problems, avoid the ugly (as you see it), and evolve into your own unique design story. Lauren will absolutely have no trouble doing that. In the meantime, I thi k there is so much inspiration out there, that it can cloud your own aesthetic l, I see farmhouse and traditional interiors in her style, but can also appreciate the space and simple lines of a contemporary style. That mostly avoids ‘things’ as decor clutters the look of the architectural space, instead, soften and highlight the architecture by enhancing the rooms best features, if it hasn’t any, then create some.
So we’re in the Central Valley (Exeter, Ca to be exact) and it’s like 107 degrees here so I just cannot get in the mood for fall yet. My birthday is September 15th so it’s tradition to decorate for Halloween after that and I go all out! I CANNOT WAIT!!! Sweaters, soups, decor, pumpkin and cinnamon candles ugh BRING IT ON!!! I am near Tampa Florida and we have had 95 plus degrees for 2 months now and I never thought I would be tired of it. We really can’t do anything outside without extreme sweating in 5 minutes. I am hoping to manifest some cooler air for a few days so I did put out my fall greenery. No pumpkins yet but some fall limbs out.
amazing.. am used to living in apartments and find it easier and more secure, but watching this makes me feel a house with a garden would be so great. But really it’s your energy and creativity which makes everything great. And would be trying the pasta soon. So sad to hear about your doggie chewy.

Love your precious baby for as long as you can. Our time with our fur babies is so, so short. About fall, I started decorating, mostly by accident, lol. I was just going to put out some pops of color, but ended up falling down the rabbit hole, and now my livingroom looks like a disaster zone! I'll get it all done, but it's going to take time, 'cuz I have a lot of fall decor!
I've started decorating for fall. I've got a tablescape, coffee bar, and cozy pillows sprung about as of now I just moved to Hawaii, and definitely going to miss the changing of the leaves this year.

Peace and prayers for your sweet pup. I live near Disney and we decorate for Fall on October 30th lol. Wth these 95°+ days wth super high humidity, it's so hard to think of cool, crisp Autumn days. I am from Pennsylvania and while I don't miss the snow and ice, I wouldn't mind a beautiful, breezy mild late September-early October day right now haha, even by Florida's standards.

I don’t decorate for Fall until mid September, Winter in Colorado is so long I try to hang on to Summer as long as possible. That said I do have late summer decor with dried sunflower wreaths and bouquets, a bit more muted colors than Summer. Love to Chewy! 🥰

Hi Lauren, I am also new at gardening other than planting a few herbs. I planted pickling cucumbers by accident but I am having a lot of fun making dill pickles and bread and butter pickles. I also have made pickled jalapeños from my peppers. I have thyme, rosemary, basil, cilantro and dill as well as parsley and orange mint. I planted small variety of tomatoes since the growing season for me is short. I have two raised garden boxes that I ordered on Amazon. I really love them. 😍
Lol I did the same thing!! They hurt to harvest! I will do so much more next summer, I asked my husband to build me another large bed, so that will be exciting!

I love it.. when she hears me she starts to run over, The other day my husband and I were chatting in the backyard and she jumped on a bush so she could see me. Chuy is getting so much love, I cried loving him last night, it is getting harder.

I have not started decorating yet. I typically do not start until after Labor Day. This year will probably only be my porch getting some decor because we have been doing some remodeling/updating in our house so it is a mess. I am glad we are able to do the upgrades, but it gets very stressful living in chaos for months at a time. Love your videos. Thanks for sharing!

Everyone here loves Lauren, and I’m sure she can get something good from each persons comments. Different opinions are very helpful when your stuck trying to figure out your next move. I’m a designer, and I am particularly interested in hearing what people don’t like because often the reasons are well thought out, and passionate responses and reactions to things are exactly what you need to identify-that’s what makes a successful project. Anticipate the problems, avoid the ugly (as you see it), and evolve into your own unique design story.
Lauren will absolutely have no trouble doing that. In the meantime, I thi k there is so much inspiration out there, that it can cloud your own aesthetic l, I see farmhouse and traditional interiors in her style, but can also appreciate the space and simple lines of a contemporary style. That mostly avoids ‘things’ as decor clutters the look of the architectural space, instead, soften and highlight the architecture by enhancing the rooms best features, if it hasn’t any, then create some.

So we’re in the Central Valley (Exeter, Ca to be exact) and it’s like 107 degrees here so I just cannot get in the mood for fall yet. My birthday is September 15th so it’s tradition to decorate for Halloween after that and I go all out! I CANNOT WAIT!!! Sweaters, soups, decor, pumpkin and cinnamon candles ugh BRING IT ON!!!

I am near Tampa Florida and we have had 95 plus degrees for 2 months now and I never thought I would be tired of it. We really can’t do anything outside without extreme sweating in 5 minutes. I am hoping to manifest some cooler air for a few days so I did put out my fall greenery. No pumpkins yet but some fall limbs out.

amazing.. am used to living in apartments and find it easier and more secure, but watching this makes me feel a house with a garden would be so great. But really it’s your energy and creativity which makes everything great. And would be trying the pasta soon. So sad to hear about your doggie chewy.
