Amazing series so far up to this one number 7 and with every video i watch its making me realise more and more that need to order your set of 3 plus some kinda hollower. Fantastic teacher your tools also come highly recommended from professionals turner friend of mine 🏴👍
@@glennteagleofukwoodcraftca5308 so would u recommend the sch3 as a hollower?? A was looking your website last night and was leaning towards the 6mm on the 12mm bar a think it was the 7 but again relatively new to turning so any advice from an expert would be greatly appreciated
@@michaelwillson6847 the 6mm on the 12 inch bar is the SCH8. 12 inch bars are good for stability, if you are doing bigger turnings. I have stated on the videos that a well rounded set would be the Standard Type 3 Set, a Box Hollower and an SCH3 as a finisher on the inside, if you are doing bowls.
Glenn-Liza bonjour. Toujours en action pour nous guider ,vous êtes plus qu'un enseignant .un véritable Maître et je me réjouis à chacune de vos vidéos. Vous oeuvrez pour nous ,les apprentis ,c'est un véritable bonheur. MERCI Glenn 👍
Thank you Denis. Always nice to read your comments. Glad you are learning from our videos. Makes making them worthwhile. Encouraging words. Thank you my friend. Glenn & Liza
Thank you Robert. Yes I do and have done on some previous videos. Chestnut Food Safe oil. My waxes are also food safe too. Very few of my bowls turned are used for food.
We love liza's giggle. Good lesson 2
Thanks Larry. Liza is always laughing. A happy person.

Thanks Michael. Just a few more to watch. Lol. You will not be disappointed in a set.
@@glennteagleofukwoodcraftca5308 yea just need go back over the hollower video to figure out what one to go for for doing bowls and platters mainly.
@@michaelwillson6847 no problem. I always finish my bowls with an SCH3. It's my finisher. All the SCH range chisels are great though.

Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant ❤❤❤
Thanks John. Glad you liked it. Part 8 to be released later.
Glenn drill a hole were the sap is, put a beer tap there and fill it up boom done 😊
Nice idea. Liza has already filled he jar. 🤭
Nice one again a bit of a sticky situation there for a while
Sure was
Have you tried OHP transparent strip on your visor Glen you just peel it of and put a new piece on saves a fortune in visors
Alan
Thanks Alan. I do use transparent strips for my visor.
Okay, rough about sap, but the grain makes a crazy pattern.
That's the problem with B&Q wood, full of sap. Liza liked the pattern too, that's why she wanted to keep it.
Enjoying the series. My question is a little off topic, but do you ever use a food safe finish for your bowls and such?

@@glennteagleofukwoodcraftca5308 Cool. I've heard of turners in the USA using walnut oil. Thanks again.
@@trahtrebor Just be aware of anyone with nut allergies etc with the oil you choose to use.
