You know, the Toohoo fight...wasn't terrible? On paper, it's a perfectly good translation of a danmaku boss into Doom's gameplay. This game just isn't made for constantly and consistently dodging projectiles. Good bullet-hell boss battles are built around precise maneuvering of the character/hitbox, but Doomguy is waaaay too fast and slippery for that to be feasible. My five-minute, armchair-game-designer solution would be to 1) make the projectiles do chip damage that isn't dangerous on its own but builds up over time, and/or 2) have the boss drop health and armor pickups at certain damage thresholds.
*GUN SEPTIM* The _actual_ name of the series is Touhou Project (pronounced “TOE-hoe”; the u’s after the o’s sorta represent harder emphasis on the tail end of the vowel’s pronunciation), but it’s funnier to say “too-hoo.” Also, some people get insanely whiny if you mispronounce it, so that’s cool too.
In regards to 60fps: More frames = higher bitrate requirement for same quality per-frame. If you are already capped at your stable upload speed, 30fps would improve quality in most cases.

But here's a fun Fact: Iron Maiden's "Be Quick or Be Dead" (1992, Fear of the Dark) was the inspiration for Doom's fast paced gameplay. For gzdoom If you wanna disable freelook without mouse movement type "SV_Nofreelook 1" in console it will reset to 0 when you close the engine. (Honestly I never like freelook in my Doom)

Yeah same, the levels had more variety and were more interesting but I also thought Final Doom was hard as shit compared to Doom 2!!

For gzdoom If you wanna disable freelook without mouse movement type "SV_Nofreelook 1" in console it will reset to 0 when you close the engine. (Honestly I never like freelook in my Doom)
