    Locker Nuts episode 747
    I bought this Unit at the storage auction. It's similar to a Pod, and I've bought these a couple times before with mixed results. This time, however, I spent way less than I thought I should have for what appears to be a truly intriguing dig. Antique trunks, boxes marked "toys", "shirts", "hats" and all kinds of other potential goodies. It starts with excitement right in the front, so get ready for another exciting episode of Locker Nuts!
    We'll be selling the best items from our purchases on Whatnot. The links are above to sign up and get a free $15 credit to spend, and here is the link directly to our next show. Join us for some live auction fun!

    Jack, of all the buyers I watch, you are the only one I watch every video of. You are awesome! Love how you go thru each locker with care and skill. You return personal items, which is very honorable. Kudos to you. I am always happy for you when you make money. Not all of em can be train lockers. I'm happy for you on those lockers, btw. You deserve it. There will be more some day. I'm so glad your health is on track again! Happy your family is healthy, happy and growing. I wish you much luck in your hunting and hope things keep looking up. Couldn't happen to a better family. Keep the videos coming.❤

    The pink MO’s hat is from a long-cherished seafood and chowder restaurant chain on the Oregon coast. There are 8 of them-Florence, Newport, Lincoln City among them. The original MO’s was built in a garage, and still has the original roll-up garage door. When the door is closed you see a painting of the founder, Mo Niemi. The painting shows her driving an old car as if she’s busting through the garage door. Great family restaurant with great seafood!

The losers usually do not want to make it financially worth your while. Do NOT give the losers your contact information!

    • @kevintyerman1906
      @kevintyerman1906 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Given that the paperwork doesn’t appear to have been moist, it may be where the shirts were stored prior to this unit. I sometimes end up with random boxes that are grotty or have been wet in an otherwise clean unit, and it becomes clear some of it has been stored somewhere unsealed previously (and in those cases the stuff isn’t all together in the unit, so it obviously didn’t happen there or in a portion of the unit).

    I wonder about the yellowing on the shirts. some of these are from sweat, and other body fluids. I've talked to people. That have put stuff in storage. That didn't have any stains on them. Then when they got them out a few years later. They had those yellow stains. And I just wonder if that happens in storage. I wonder if they could be washed with Biz before putting in storage. And if that wouldn't happen under the new circzumstances.
    Somebody give it a try and let me know please.

    • @LockerNuts

      The pickers that deal in vintage shirts don't seem too deterred by the yellowing, so I'd bet there is a way to get them out. I don't think it's easy, requiring soaking and adding hot water for a number of days, if I remember correctly, but it's not impossible. I've never done it though.

I guess I didn't make that clear enough in the video while filming, but kinda sad how people are so quick to jump down my throat or instruct me as to what I should be doing. I appreciate you chiming in on this; you got my back and I love that.

      Jack ALWAYS gives back personal items such as photos, letters and official documents. He also gives back many sentimental items as well. If people are willing to pay for certain non-personal/sentimental items that he would normally resell I think it’s great that he offers them the opportunity. Many buyers wouldn’t.

      Just a guess, maybe ingrained body oils turning yellow with time. Happens to my whites if I don't wear and wash them regularly although it does take years.
