I aways mix paste 50/50 water first, then groundbait. It then resembles a thick soup. After 15 minutes it's perfect. I then sometimes take a small quantity out, and roll it in dry groundbait, and knead it to make a slightly stiffer paste if required. Paste is a method that I have perfected over years of tweeking. Caught 100's lbs on this method. Seems to pick out the bigger fish too, especially down the edge later on, after feeding a good handful of bigger pellets both sides every 30 mins or so for at least 2 to 3 hours before even looking in.

True, I do and don't understand why but doing it this way always makes a better paste 👍

1 small tip , water 1st then your ground bait will mix way better

also great past is in the 1st bag (bait tech method pellets) just bland them up in to fine ground bait size 1 part pellet 1 part water leave for 20 min then add bit more water !
