The funny thing is that Microsoft has the experience and money to make something a million times better with thousands of units and realistic city building but they purposely choose not to the investors make them make horrible decisions in stead of what we want that’s why they changed all of the games from original because original aoe games all were playable for years without upgrade I’m just yapping but I wouldn’t say finally it’s bin years we’ve had this 😅

@@Machoman50tano…no they are very much not capable of making an rts use thousands of models at once because no developer has the means to do that. An rts with that many models would be borderline unplayable due to just how much the game would have to load at any given second and nothing short of a nasa computer would be able to play it
Interesting fact: Citizens do not need drop points to harvest resources so you don't need to build farms around The Town Centres and you can build them ANYWHERE on the map.
I usually just built them at the town-center as it was me going 'They're safely here, and I can keep track of em for building.'
But that's probably my noob brain talking, I never went hard for VS games.
AOM was a fun one for just playing against AI now and then, just to relive nostalgia.

What I wanna know is how you changed the Ui to have all the resources to the right.
One question, how did you distribute your 10 oracles? Did you spread them out, or clump up altogether? What did you think about favor generation for atlantean?
You need yo spread them because they do not generate favor if they stick together. Personally I like it because before you didn´t have to do something specific with atlanteans to gain favor. Expansion is natural. This new mechanic is interesting for me
