I thank God that I am save in the Potters house from bound by religion.and my marriage was failing apart .God reach out to me by using a full on gospel disciple from the Potters house and I gave my life to Jesus Christ. I am save since 1996 and I love Jesus Christ
Man I love our fellowship (CFM). The standards have saved by life and my walk with God. I have been challenge here and it has made me a better man, husband, father. I glad a church was planted i my town and someone invited me to church. My life has been blessed and Im excited to make heaven my home one. God bless CFM ministries. God keep our pastor Greg Mitchell and our leaders. Bless the Prescott church and the fellowship. Lets keep reaching the world for Jesus Christ.
Being in Potters House/The Door is the best thing I have ever done in my life. I was born and raised in Methodist but since joining the Potters, I am always at peace. I had cancer and no one expected me to live even doctors but my pastor and the congregation prayed for me. 9yrs down the line I am still surviving and have been back to working permanently.
all I can say is that I was in that fellowship and saw many many lives destroyed. While I was fighting in Bosnian in '93 with the Marines, my wife, which was a marriage arranged by the church slept with the drama team leader. He was actually the guy who invited me to the church. Well when I got back something wasn't right but I didn't know what. They had covered up the adultery. LOL. Didn't even tell me. So I invited my bro for dinner and my wife said it's not a good idea. Why? Well some things happened, while you were away. I was pretty devastated. Thry went so far as to say that if I were a real man of God I would have been able to discern while I was in a war that something was going on behind my back. It was my fault they said. I've seen so many terrible things happen in the name of keeping numbers up and offerings coming in, but primarily its about total control. They will lose 20 people if they can have total domination over 5.
I just want say it's great you healed. I was healed to when i first became a Christian there. Potter's house in Australia, Brisbane. It was your faith and not the special pastor of church. That's were you have gone wrong. Cult leaders groom you. They even use good things. They condition slowly then abuse comes in but it's not obvious. It takes years to renew your mind on what's really christ and false teaching.
That is the typical response from your fellowship for anyone who sees the wrong. Call them a rebel bitter backslidder. Oh you think you came up with that one on your own? You are such a parrot puppet. People do not "backslide from your fellowship." Leaving your fellowship does not equate to leaving God. If you believe that you are truly lost. There is no hope for you, you will be stuck there forever.
I love the Door Christian Fellowship, I don’t blame him, there are lot pastor that say some dump things, pastor don’t know what their talking about. However we lot of the best preachers in the world!
Who was Jesus most critical of when he was on the earth? He was most critical of the religious pharisees, who thought they were better than everyone else. YOU people from the Potters House think you are better than all other christians. You are arrogant and ignorant. @@eugenehernandez4868

E.A.R. HAHAHAHAHA yousss darn right we don’t allow open sin and I’m so happy we don’t. It’s gonna keep us from burning in hell. I’m glad my pastor doesn’t sugar coat the word of God. And the OTHERS aren't Doing That, Then to them...☝️IT'S A CULT...!!!!!!!! ps: ministering to the lost is not a perfect science, ya learn over time by mistakes What to do/ not to do.. but At Least WE DO IT..!
While this guy is busy talking about my fellowship im out here winning souls to Jesus Christ. Flipping the world upside for Jesus. Love you Pastor Wayman Mitchell if it weren't for you I would be dead. I'll see you in heaven with all the people I led to the lord here at The Potters House Christian fellowship Church. Over a thousand churches and still growing. I Got to go "DISCIPLINING REAL MEN FOR THE HARVEST FIELD."
I'm just wondering, what are the scriptures that Potter's House is teaching differently than let's say this Baptist Church in the video? My husband and I have been going a couple of months, we have been in many other churches. Since the pandemic, We have found many churches to become woke. One even set up a cocktail clinic inside the church. They have become government churches. Not willing to talk about the last days, and how everything in the last several years are heading in that direction. I haven't found anything in the door church we've been attending that is false. Maybe we need to go there longer and if it is a false church, it will reveal itself.
I think I might have a unique perspective on this subject. I haven’t met anyone with a testimony exactly like mine regarding CFM. I prayerfully hope this helps anyone who reads this: I grew up in Evangelicalism. I am a generational Christian. My parents accepted Christ and live for Christ even now in their 70s decades after becoming born again. I grew up knowing the gospel and accepted Christ very early in life. I went into the Air Force after high school and was invited to the Potter’s House as soon as I got to my first assigned base. I immediately loved the zeal and passion for God! I loved the full expression of the Holy Ghost and the bold witness of the good news of Jesus! Long story short, I stayed a part of the fellowship for 17 years. I became an evangelist and was privileged to preach the gospel in wonderful small churches throughout the southwestern part of the United States. Here is where the problems began. The Fellowship purposefully seeks out unchurched people, not folks who have had positive fruitful godly experiences with other ministries. I’m not saying it’s a rule or impossible for other Christians to join the Fellowship. I’m saying it’s unusual. They prefer their own converts and their own disciples. Why? Usually because of doctrinal differences, even small ones. I knew this and accepted it, believing that God placed me in that ministry. However, over the years more and more people began to come to me in confidence asking for counseling and guidance when I went to preach in different churches in the Fellowship. There were a lot of mental health problems that were not being solved by prayer, Bible study and sermons alone. All of that was immensely helpful, but many needed therapy. Some had PTSD from war, others had sexual violations, many experienced spiritual abuses from pastors as well. This lead to me doing far more theological study and seeking God’s guidance for what I should do. I told the leadership, my Pastor that I believed God wanted me to go to seminary and get a graduate degree in therapy so I could give Christians therapy from a biblical point of view. He didn’t like that at all. Fellowship preachers don’t go to seminary. It’s seen as a waste of time; a place fiery believers lose their passion for God. Let me be clear, that is not true. The Pastor had been trough the Fellowship’s discipleship process, not seminary. I have now been through both the Fellowship’s discipleship and theological seminary. I found both very useful in very different ways. CFM doesn’t want people to get seminary education because they can no longer be controlled. You can answer questions you couldn’t with discipleship training alone. You really learn how much more there is to Christianity than what you get from a local church experience. CFM has a poor theological foundation because the ministers do not have the depth of theological training they need to handle a worldwide movement. They are too insulated from the rest of the Christian community. They believe this is good, but in the end it isn’t because nobody from the outside can correct their toxic leadership blind spots. The narcissistic tendencies are rampant. The fundamentalist paradigms lead to splits every decade since the beginning in the early 1970s. Work/life balance is not something I ever heard in the fellowship because we were always doing something at the church. Church life should be full of good relationships but that comes with healthy balance of time at home with family as well. None of that was taught in that ministry. Only the blood of Christ saves each of us, not any actions done at the church. We do things at church because we love God and our neighbors.
When you look at the list of reply responses to this posting it is very telling. Many short responses are of people stating that the CFM churches love God and people. These are usually members that have been a part of CFM for a shorter time, say 3-5 years or they are ‘pillars’ in their church and have not experienced things from a leadership perspective outside of their local church. They are not responsible for money management, counseling marriages, and deeper theological questions that people build their understanding of the faith upon. Other responses are from people who have experienced the harsh realities of being a part of an authoritarian religious organization. Misunderstood doctrines lead to wrong decisions concerning life choices. This has shipwrecked a number of people associated with this fellowship. New converts to the faith have no way of understanding this. They just want to be free from drugs, have a marriage that works, raise their kids in a peaceful environment, have a stable job and find out what God place them on this earth to do. CFM is built upon a theological doctrine known as fundamentalism which is a modern 20th century reaction to the modern secular world. That might sound meaningless or harmless to the uninformed, but it is not harmless. I can assure you of that. Fundamentalism is NOT a simple back to basics form of Christianity. This doctrine leads to a hyper focus on external behaviors centered around what you can and cannot do. Fundamentalists will say they are not involved with legalism or any form of works righteousness, but their belief system makes it virtually impossible not to fall into such behaviors and mindsets. Yes, many people get free from drugs and alcohol and other besetting sins of the flesh in CFM churches. However, those sins are all too often replaced with a host of other tragic and sinful behaviors such as pride, hard heartedness, rules based living, judgmentalism especially toward other Christians, and grace for the unconverted that is very conditional in practice. Why has this happened with CFM? No one in that organization has done the harder theological work to make sure their belief system is sound in both faith and practice. They are not exactly the same theologically to other evangelical/Pentecostal denominations like the Assemblies of God, Church of God, or the Foursquare Gospel denomination that Wayman Mitchell left to start his own fellowship. None of their leaders are trained in Greek or Hebrew and they haven’t learned textual criticism of any kind to decide what they actually believe based upon their own scholarship. They borrow scholarship from other groups when it suits them and dismiss ideas they don’t like without ever doing the hard work themselves. I know not everyone or even most believers are not going to get all that training. It took me years and multiple degrees to do all of that. My point is that to my knowledge NONE of the pastors in CFM have done anything like that over the decades this fellowship has existed. If you are going to create a Christian organization that professes to reach the world for Christ SOMEBODY in your organization needs to do this theological scholarly work. Otherwise your doctrines can go wildly astray and no one really understands why. CFM is a misguided organization that is theologically dangerous. Beliefs matter. They lead to behaviors, which lead to practices. Why have there been so many splits over the decades? Why have prominent leaders left over the years? Why so many stories of spiritual abuse? Beliefs and behaviors are built upon theology. Theology comes from theologians. CFM has none. This anti-intellectualism is a key part of fundamentalism’s primary problem. The Holy Spirit guides the learner. One of the reasons Paul was sent as an Apostle to the gentiles was his higher education in the study of the word of God. God used his intelligence and training together with his anointing. CFM is not a modern day cult. CFM is an aberration of Christian faith and practice that drifts into heretical practices through authoritarianism, shepherding, and a rush to judgment on a person’s salvation status based on behaviors rather than God being the arbitrator of who has turned from sin and remains under the grace of Jesus atonement.
Both of your comments are excellent observations, thank you. I was in the Door church in the Netherlands for 34 years and was kicked out for (so called) rebellion. I have noticed a lot of the things that you wrote and also the fact that most ( if not all) CFM christians stagnate in their spiritual growth after some time. Spiritual growth is considered commitment to the church and submission to headship. No preaching about the Holy Spirit indwelling you who gives the grace to live a holy and victorious life. Nothing about the renewing of the mind with the word of God. It's sad to see so many hard working christians living under a yoke of slavery which the bible speaks against in Galatians 5:1. Jesus on the other hand says: My yoke is easy and my burden is light, Matthew 11:30. I celebrate my freedom in Christ every day since August 2015 when my time at the Door church was over. And in those last 7 years God has restored the years that the locust has eaten. ( Joel 2:25) Greetings from the Netherlands.
@@margreethakkerman4026 Thank you for your comments. I was in CFM from 1987-2003. I’m coming up on twenty years since I left. I wrote an open letter to the Pastor and the congregation explaining why I was leaving. I personally handed the letter to the Pastor at morning prayer meeting. When I later asked some of my closest friends in the congregation if they ever saw the letter they said they didn’t know I had even written a letter. I can not express how painful this was for me and my young family. Members of the church were instructed not to visit our home or to speak to us. We attended another Christian church in the local area for 6 months until we relocated to Florida where my parents lived so I could attend seminary and go forward with ministry. The Pastor of the local church we attended after leaving the Fellowship was an older much wiser minister that was incredibly helpful and gave us closure for our time in the southwestern part of the USA. He never spoke negatively about other ministries. He wisely pointed to the fruit of any ministry over time especially generations of time. At 55 I’m beginning to understand what that means.
@@mykilahsenwilliamsdorsey1495 The most difficult part of leaving was how we were treated in the process and afterwards. It took quite some time to get over it and to get healed from the pain and coming to the point of forgiving them. But by the grace of God I was able to do it. God used other christians and churches to help us and above all through His healing power that reaches to the depths of your soul. He is awesome. I felt betrayed when I discovered that there were biblically sound churches in my city and christians that were on fire for God. CFM always pretends to be the only good church in town. I feel sorry for all those people there being deceived in many ways, but that's the problem with deception: you dont see it, you are blind. I pray that they will get back into the freedom in which they started when they first got born again. Legalism is one of the biggest problems in the Door churches in the Netherlands. Now and then you can hear a good sermon if you watch their livestream, but that's not enough to change the whole system. Even though their core beliefs may be correct, their practices and traditions are most of the time dominant. I hope that you have recovered from your painful experience and have grown in your love for God and people,( I think that you have) . Greetings and blessings.
I'm sorry for peoples like him that wastes his time talking about churchs, instead of preaching the word of God. He can does something better for the kingdom of God.
This man needs to realize that the church is the body of Christ and we don’t need to fight against one another. This is sad. It sounds like he’s jealous of the Potters House being more successful than his church.
I go to the POTTERS HOUSE Bakersfield CALIFORNIA. and I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED ANY OF THESE CLAIMS THAT YOUR SAYING THE POTTERS HOUSE IS A GREAT CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP.
I had respect for this man, but going out and calling The Potters House "close to a cult" baffles me. Now, I was part of Christian Fellowship which is part of The Potters House, and I did Backslide and left the church. I can say, Out of the many churches with different names that I have been to, The Potters House has been the only one that actually preaches a true gospel, and true discipleship. People leave and talk bad about it, because the pastors there really challenge people to truly give their life to Christ and rid of bad habits, all according to scripture. It is Not watered-down preaching, It is string and straight forward. So, people really cant hang and leave. God Bless The Potters House
This is how I see it: If you go to one McDonald’s and they serve you a horrible meal, do you automatically assume all the other McDonald’s are just the same? I attend the Potter’s House in Las Vegas, but I know that TD Jakes preaches in Texas. I list to my Pastors, but I don’t listen to TD Jakes. My McDonald’s/my church has served me a good meal, but I can see that other McDonald’s/church within the “franchise” might serve you a bad meal. It comes down to the service coming from the management and the employees. So far I am satisfied with my own personal service, but I cannot defend any other “Potter’s Houses” because I have not had experiences there.
None of these guys can debate basic biblical doctrines. I am in trouble now for asking basic questions. I am still in the Fellowship..... looking for the closest door, pun intended.

@carlosiumanzor9340 Too late for me brother. We left the Potter's house 3 months ago. One passage I can keep you busy with is Mal 3:8 Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In your tithes and contributions. Mal 3:9 You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me, the whole nation of you. Mal 3:10 Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. Mal 3:11 I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil, and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the LORD of hosts. Who is this written to?
I thank God for the Potters House. I was raised in the Baptist church and never experienced the true power of God. After I got saved I prayed for a good church. I encountered the JW's, Mormons and Catholics but knew in my heart that none of them gave me what I experienced on the 15th of April 1988 at 3pm when I asked Christ into my heart. Then I got an invitation to the Potters House. I have never looked back since then. God through Jesus has redeemed my life. I have been happily married for 27 years with 4 children that love the Lord. I have pastored,, pioneered, evangelized and been a missionary over the last 22 years. God has truly been good to me.

This is really true. What they’re most guilty of is eisegesis. Reading a text, which has God’s intended meaning and context, and shoving their own ideas. It’s a heretical church with heretical teachings. As an ex member, I can agree
The ability to compare notes over the internet wised up a lot of people. At first we were forbid to use internet early 90's. By 2000 so many people had posted stuff and compared notes that it helped a lot of people escape.
Potters house is all over youtube. You are advised that if your in ministry u need to remove your tv. After doing this for many yrs it has kept many worldly views from my mind.
When a Christian church belittles another Christian church, it is a reflection of Christianity to unbelievers who are searching for answers. This teaching if that’s what you call it is based on third party comments and sounds very hateful.
I've attended many times the door and are constantly speaking against other Christian churches...which off the bat stood out to to me. Hi. I am a member of this church and sorry to hear about your bad experience. I will not say that your experience was not true at all but, I believe some member's bad behavior does not make the church a cult per se. Because the church teach about the Trinity, salvation is by faith in Jesus alone and hell is real. This is not the teaching of a cult.
@@skyisthelimit4074 I don't remember ever saying it was an actual cult, but rather that it was a "cult like" church and that many of their practices were bordering on it. You can teach Trinity, salvation and hell and be a cult by the way, those are the foundational teachings of many well known cults, it's the behaviours and practices of that church that define whether or not you can actually classify it as a cult. I.e. control, excommunication...etc. As I said, for me it is bordering on a cult. I also wouldn't say that it is only a few individuals, it is every single church in the UK. I have never had a positive experience with any one of them. Not one Potter's House location will associate with other born again believers outside of the organisation, every single one cuts off members who decides to leave and fellowship elsewhere, they don't even care if the Lord has led that person to go elsewhere. I wasn't only blocked by my Pastor, but I was also shunned by every other Pastor I had ever had an association with in the Potter's House. They simply could not accept that the Lord had called me elsewhere. Didn't matter the fruits. I'm now married to a wonderful man of God, a Pastor in fact of another church and it is the longest I have ever stayed in one church since I got saved. I can't see myself being anywhere else unless the Lord calls my husband to Pastor elsewhere, though I can't see that happening anytime soon. The ministry we are in now has its struggles of course, but has been a huge breath of fresh air for me and I can really see how much I was suffocating under the control of the Potter's House. What is also amazing is that many people from the main branch in the UK have left and joined our church, I never find out until a few weeks into getting to know them that they have come from PH and have had the same experiences and revelation to leave. What does that say about the church if people even from the main branch are leaving to join our ministry, and we don't even know how they come to find us. 🤷♀️
@@EllieJadeOke I know what you meant because as a member of this church I also researched about them and not surprised to hear what others are saying about PH as the borderline cult. Fortunately, the local church where I am a member is not like what you describe. And I can tell my disagreement in live with our Pastor and he will respect what I have to say and not asking me to leave or calling me a backslider. Yes, stay with your husband-Pastor and support him for the God's work. When it comes to church members, people are come and go and that is the reality of it. I am trying to balance everything and want to be a mature Christian that is why I am open to what people like you are saying about the church while I cannot deny that PH help me to grow as a Christian over the years and somehow help me raised my children in serving God and not getting involved with secular things and bad things like drugs, etc. Blessings to you.
I see the exact opposite too though. Everyone thinks they are right. Some baptist churches are rediculous you can't even express praise even though all through the psalms. This guy just said all sin is paid for, so this guy believes he is always saved? Guess, we'll see at the end of the day.
You would not be able to accept it as you are conditioned to believe you are involved in a "move of God." Truth is you are just like any other religion where they think they are better than all other churches.

I came out of a potters house. I thought we were preaching the true gospel. It was actually almost like a family of people and we did really love each other. @@swwilliams1326 By "fall short" I assume the person meant we are all sinners. That is all. And by the way, there is nothing wrong in praying the sinner's prayer often or everyday if you want to. You are only acknowledging that you are a sinner in need of a Savior.

The more I listen to this the more I see how way off the mark you are on this one. Your taught in the potters house that family is the most important thing. But it can’t come before Jesus. For example if your brother says let’s go to a bar, you tell I love you but I can’t go with you. Or if you feel God’s call to the mission field and your mom says don’t go cause I’ll miss my grand kids. You have to obey God. The controversy was always due to money or in other words Mitchells pyramid money scheme . I walked out and suffered all the withdrawal pains of any ex cult member . Blaming myself mainly . I was not good enough . Guilt . Shame . Re adjusting to a changed world . I re committed to The true and living God 4 years ago .I have forsaken all charismatic chaos madness . Tongue talking , false healings , false miracle , false prophecy's . My walk with Jesus today is truly wonderful .
As someone who went to the potters house for less than a year, and my experience was good, one thing I can say is they’re very demanding on you being there and not missing prayer meetings or outreach as well as services 3 or 4 times a week and I understand the importance of it but when it becomes an issue with them questioning your walk with God then this place is not for you
I will post verses below regarding backsliding. The bible should be what we use to examine a church, not simply vague personal feelings about a church or its leadership. As for using concerts and music from the world to win people. Paul went into temples, synagogue and places other faith to bring the GOSPEL. He used the prison system to its full extent. He used anything where there was a gathering of people as did Jesus. Is it wrong to gather a people that are unsaved and use it as a chance to bring the gospel? While I don't believe deception needs to be a part of it, at least somebody is trying to target the lost and worldly. I'm sure that can the Potters House can live with that criticism whilst trying to do something to reach the lost. As I completed counseling and waited for her for 2 years as a member in phoenix. She abandoned me and alienated me from my children . While living with another man. Well when I got back something wasn't right but I didn't know what. They had covered up the adultery. LOL. Didn't even tell me. So I invited my bro for dinner and my wife said it's not a good idea. Why? Well some things happened, while you were away. I was pretty devastated. It's funny but not. All the churches preaching against each other and yet I say anything at all and was punished for it. It's exactly why I said not church, not religion but Jesus alone saves. Is it any wonder there are so many who have been turned off God complelty. Where are the churches who acknowledge what is wrong within THEMSELVES? Yet they get offended when others are open about their own faults. Go figure.
The whole thing about not being able to walk out of the church is a total lie. The opposite is true. There are times where people have to be thrown out. And offerings are never taken at outreach events.
They will beat your eardrums for 10 to 15 minutes on tithing for every pastor who preaches in a conference or weekly Wed services. Which also stood out to me. A person wanted to be baptized and wanted to be saved and gathered that it meant the world to this person and was told they need to wait for a specified amount of time 😮...that blew my mind. This person wants/needs to be saved and baptized so desperately and is told to wait ✋🏽 ....what?

After a huge church split years ago, many ministers went on to further their own ministry, no shame...those who stayed simply renewed their dedication to their home church, (mother)...some preach with strife, some preach with grace, truth, and love, some for money, some for prestige ...through every failure and scandal. The potters house has a huge ego, they are the elitist Christian’s. The navy seals of Christianity. They will never lower themselves to join with the lesser Christian churches.
I went there years ago. What you’re saying is not true. You should be careful about making false statements. Especially when your standing behind a pulpit.
Praise God for the Potters house they preach Jesus Christ. They evangelize the gospel of Jesus Christ. Stop judging let God be the judge. Preach the word of God to the sinners .potter's house is reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Potters house is not a cult .I am wash and cleanse by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Wow! All of these years serving God in the fellowship that shared the gospel with me, a young mother, living with a man who wasn't my husband. You would tear down the work that Jesus Christ has done in my life through the Potter's House Fellowship?! You sir are not even sure of what you're preaching. You are misleading your flock. Are you jealous of what God is doing through them? Not communicating with family is an absolute lie! Hearsay and slander is all you have sir. Be careful what you preach from your pulpit sir, as I have lost count of the lies you are telling here. The gospel is preached in every concert scene, it is a platform to preach the gospel sir, to reach the lost. How can you not see that? Just preach the gospel, as it appears you are making excuses for your own lack.
They're is is not perfect church. I would want to know which is the closest to God's will. I went to Potters house, he was speaking in tongues, but no prophecy. I went up to the altar he said my Cross necklace was idolatry... whhhaaa. I disagreed.. he said the devil could use that as a henderance.. Their were only 6 members at service he still did the offering. Main thing I lean on is God's word.. what he's got to say. I have discernment. I just go to hear what God wants to tell, and if I feel that something's wrong I'll walk out.
With respect brother you are so off in what you are proclaiming bro about the PH in so many areas. I am in Perth West Australia and we have churches all over the world because we evangelise, make disciples and plants churches. People can come and go when ever they like. Doors are not locked nor are people stopped from leaving, I have been in the PH since 1987 and never seen someone stopped from leaving etc as you have claimed. I have served on the church’s council and pastored overseas myself and never did that in my church. You are making statements that are not correct so be careful. We outreach to non churched people… sinners just like Jesus did. We are not focused on church growth from transfer growth of people from other churches but unsaved souls. So what outreaches do you have and how many souls ( non churched people) have you been reaching? One day The books will be open and all will be revealed, if having a love for people and a burden for souls is wrong then I don’t want to be right. I guess Calvinist beliefs will always battle with the concept of making a decision for salvation and of the reality of backsliding back into sin and losing your salvation. FYI - My Pastor doesn’t preach very often on money or giving etc but your referring to sermons and offerings taken at a conference (which is free and open to anyone to attend by the way) That is a totally different dynamic and you don’t have the context, we plant churches from conferences and that takes money and local congregations to rally together and support what God is doing, World evangelism costs money which is why most churches don’t do it. Have you made disciples and planted a church overseas or locally out of your church? In Australia we don’t record individual tithing so not sure how you would know if people pay tithes, or not? that’s between the person and God. You seem to have an issue and focus about money? I could go on and on to refute all of the stuff you are spouting but just be careful brother. Our pioneer Pastors in most cases are tent making ministers until their church can grow and financially become self sufficient and Pastors don’t live the high life and are very accountable. Every church has internal and monthly financial accountability to their headship and external auditors. My Pastor has never tried to run or micro manage my life. Maybe you should focus on preaching about outreaching for souls and stir up a vision for the lost in your people. Many in these last days are in the valley of decision, how will they hear without a preacher. Jesus is coming soon we must work while it is day brother…sinners are the prize, don’t get caught up and lose sight of souls perishing. Jesus has called everyone to be fruitful and reach the lost, there are many great ministries in the earth doing just that and obeying the great commission, the PH is not the only thing God is doing but we are just privileged to be used to reach the lost but it is a movement God is blessing and it is a work of God not of man. God bless your brother just be careful what you claim as truth about our fellowship when you don’t have context and listening to disgruntled people will always give you a tainted view. I am married 34 years, been in pastoral ministry and pioneered a church, all my children are serving God. August 16 1987 I walked into a PH church knowing no one or anything about the church, I heard a clear gospel message and was convicted of my sin before God, I repented of my sin and asked Jesus into my heart receiving assurance of my sins forgiven having come from a outlaw MC background I was set free of many vices and burdens from sin and forgiven. I am one satisfied customer and God is awesome.

Wow, I’m flabbergasted with what this joker of a preacher is saying. He said he’s heard “stories” and that’s his basis for all this babblings. Potters House members aren’t forced to stay in church out of fear like this guy claims. I been in the Potter's House for over a year, the thing that sticks out is you have to give 10% and if you don't you are stealing from God. The more money you give the more blessings and favor you have. Don't tith and you are cursed what a curse. Also if you don't give that 10% then you are taking basically a loan from God and need to pay back in interest.
You might have a problem with 10% to support the church you went to...but I spent hundreds of pounds a month...in the nightclub on drink.and drugs and it wasn't a problem. But to give towards the upkeep of the church is something that we should be proud to do.
Not good to talk about a work of God. I used to go to The Door many years ago and went there for 26 years. They are a good fellowship and win souls. Be careful how you go about defining a cult.
What happen brother you dont go anymore? Come back we need you look at whats happening now dont turn away and thanking for standing up for the door 👍🔥💪💓
Not all churches of door and potters house are run the same and many are good. A lot may be small and struggle financially to stay open. I went to a Baptist church and the bishop had the nerve to say quote "I'm not ready for Jesus return. I want to keep getting it on with my wife even if I need Viagra" now that was an abomination
You are now making up things! They didnt say if you dont give you will go to hell! You have lied right there. It is encouraged now forced but because you take the truth, you lie as you cannot handle it.
It is the truth, you are told that if you don't tithe, you are disobeying God and you will go to hell! I know, I went to a fellowship church for several years, I know their false doctrine!
@@bf2842 been going to the Potters house for several years. They don’t claim that you go to hell if you don’t tithe not even close. They do say it is not being obedient though to not tithe. Santana Montes beats his wife and watches gay porn tho. JK bro. Yeah, the Door targets latinos because of your fear based catholic upbringing. THE pastor is your priest now. And God didn't change your life. Your still full of fear.
It sounds vaguely familiar. I looked up these people locally - they say this about salvation: 1. Salvation is initiated by a prayer of faith in Jesus. 2. Salvation is completed by God's grace. 3. Salvation is maintained by a lifestyle of Biblical righteousness. 4. Salvation is demonstrated by works. 5. Salvation is lost when we sin and do not repent. 6. Salvation is necessary to enter Heaven in eternity. Very salvation by personal works, by works of the law, and the cross of Christ is nowhere in view.
The Bible says all that about salvation. Idk why you think it's wrong but it's God's word you have a problem with. Not the church. You can lose your salvation, salvation does involve works for the kingdom of God, salvation does have to be maintained. Jesus died on the cross so we could have a chance to have salvation. You do need to have salvation in order to make heaven your home. If youre not saved you are gonna be separated from God. Don't be fooled by this sermon this man preached about.
@@mufasa6768 if Jesus died for our salvation, and it's only a chance, what is the chance that he rose from the dead too? If it's only a partial introduction to salvation, and the rest depends on our works, then how is it salvation in any sense? Why did he say "I am the way" if works are the way?
No idea what this guy is on about I am in the Potters House but I was completely lost before I got saved Potters house reach souls and preach Jesus. Nuff said. By the way, this one is for free, usually you can't leave a cult.

That's how you know you are in a cult, when it's so plain in front of you, but you can't see it because you are so blinded and by the lies you have been indoctrinated in.
If we follow scripture, however one judges, they shall be judged. He is taking the worst scenarios of other churches and displaying them as though they are the norm. Sounds the same as what cancel culture does. Politicians, anti police, and any other who has little facts except a few testimonials and Google. I don't know who you are, yet I pray God's mercy and grace upon you all when it's your turn to be judged on these teachings, your church, your lifestyle, what you allow yourself to be taught, and how you talk about those who labor for God. When you take the place of pastoralship, your soul will be judged twice. Once for yourself, and once for the souls you have swayed... Please get the facts of your subjects, before casting stones. On this your way off
I spent my teen years and my early 20s living in fear while attending the Door Christian fellowship. I can attest to the fact that they do use shunning and fear tactics to manipulate there congregation. Even holding "teen" boot camps during the summer mixing religious doctrine with marine corps recruit training methods. I want to get my family away from this oppressive organization but I can only do so much.
Jonny Rivera it is better to live in fear than to be in hell for eternity dont run from the truth or excuse it truth hurts but its for your own good narrow path few will enter if you fear God you are blessed no offense but you should fear God and not be here on earth for his wrath 😱

Listening to this whole thing I find it very ironic because on Wednesday the Pastor of the Potters house I go to did a whole message on staying connoted to your family and how important that is wether your family is saved or not how important those relationships are. Complete opposite of what this Pastor is saying about them. He clearly has no first hand knowledge of them or what they actually teach. I wonder how he would like it if people speak or poorly about his church from non baptists and ex church members testimonies. It’s sad. Causing major division in the church.
Your Pastor must be an exception then, because my pastor only allowed his wife to fellowship with her saved family members (all of whom were attending a Potter's House church). As for her unsaved sister, she was the black sheep of the family and it wasn't encouraged. We were all warned about not associating too closely with unsaved relatives, and to keep them at arms length.

I feel like you have some kind of a bias to be making bold assumptions like that. Also, Potter's House is the same wherever you go, they all teach the same doctrines, have the same mentality and ideology. I've seen videos of people in Australia facing the same issues. It is all very much the same.

Steven Baughman should believers not turn from sin. Is it wrong to encourage all to turn from sin. We all appreciate that faith saves us. Sin separates us from God. Both are biblically sound statements. I don't see how that promotes a work based salvation. Otherwise James 2. Faith without works is truely what you ask people to present. We can keep reducing the teachings of the bible. Love but no fear of God, Faith but no works, Forgives but no sin, it would make no sence.
Mister Sparks And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Luke 5:31-32 KJV All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. Therefore all are in sin and need Jesus. Jesus says He calls sinners to repentance. PS. Repentance is not a work, its a change of direction. God's empowerment gives us the strength to walk that new way. We turn, God empowers! This is not a works based salvation.
Mister Sparks perfect. So you get it now. Repentance is us turning to God. By nature of turning to Him that is good, we must turn away from sin. Thus, all faith in Jesus requires turning from sin. We are saved by faith, therefore forsake sin. God justifies us not as a result of our perfect adherence to the laws but, because by faith we are In Christ. You cannot be In Christ and live a life to willfull sin! There is no more SCARFICE for those once enlightened, Christ cannot die again. The context of this verse was preach to the lost! not debate with backsiders. The point was you can do nothing more than give the gospel, don't try to persuade by adding to the death of Jesus. To be I. Christ you must turn to God and turn from sin. Hence the battle of a believers is to walk in the spirit. Both my previous statements are true. The reason they are true is because they are taken from the bible. I will not change the interputation to help me feel justified. Let the bible speak for itself. I find no contradiction in saying repent and repent for your sins. Provided you turn to God, both are the same. The problem is some legalistic "Christians" hear turn from sin and start saying Christians believe in a works based salvation, most of the time they do not. People simple hear what they want to label someone a heritic without just evidence. Hence I said I don't believe in turning from sins to be saved. You are saved by turning to god. Unfortunately repent to a critical audience today simply means to turn away (but turn to what, our own good ideas? ) , in the bible repentance specifically means turn to God, expect in the case of Judas. True repentance is Godly sorrow, not remorse. Its turning to God!
Unfortunately our sin has been elevated to a position greater than God wanting to know us and hold a relationship with us. God does not say believe in me and so you can be forgiven, He says he has plans, purpose, a future, He loves us. He is our confident father, not because what He can do for us, but, because that's who God is! While I thank God for the law. God bought us a better covenant so we don't need to attack people for there past sins. We can preach Christ crucified. We can point to Jesus clearly, people hear the gospel and be filled with awe and wonder and faith in Who God is. God will bring convictions turning people to follow and trust Him. Good Preacher don't need to name sin, God speaks to the person about their specific personal sin. We still have the laws to educate us that God could not be statified by obedience to the laws, but only by faith. The law also shows us when out faith is weak or not in proper use, as it reveals the evil unbelife and sin in our lives. Its a good school master showing us our errors so we can try again by faith. Repenting of sin. Or Repent and believe. The crucial factor as you read those statements is, weather repent is just turning from sin or the biblical repentance which turns us to God thus causing you to turn from sin. Repent = turn from sin (not accurate rendering of meaning) Repent = turn to God (resulting in a turn from sin) Hate preachers make alot of repentance and its dual meaning in the eyes of Christianity today. It's unfortunate they say most of the church world believe in a works based salvation, its simply not true, most churches hold to by faith alone, the difference is they are not afraid to examine peoples faith by using the laws like any good school master testing the pupils. They then make videos like this to spew criticism and hate speech. Paul rejoiced when Christ preached even when the motive behind it was wrong, I'm not saying he supported false teachers, but I'm sure he would have some strong view on this. Those who are not against us are for us.
It states: "When Ananias and Sapphira attempt to deceive the Apostles and the people Peter appears as judge of their action, and God executes the sentence of punishment passed by the Apostle by causing the sudden death of the two guilty parties (Acts 5:1-11)". God doesn't play with money. God killed two people for lying about money
Your message needed to be preached. The comment attacks against you is normal responses from people of wayman mitchell churches. Thank you for your prayers for them.
**Reformed doctrine, also known as Calvinism, is a theological system that was developed by John Calvin during the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century. While it has gained a significant following and has had a profound impact on Christian theology, there are several reasons why some individuals and religious groups consider reformed doctrine to be incorrect or flawed.** 1. **Limited Atonement:** One of the key tenets of reformed theology is the concept of limited atonement, which states that Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross was only intended for a specific group of people known as the elect. According to this view, Christ's death did not provide salvation for all humanity but only for those predestined by God to be saved. This notion contradicts the widely held belief in Christianity that Jesus' sacrifice was meant to offer salvation to all people who accept him as their savior. 2. **Predestination:** Another central aspect of reformed doctrine is the belief in predestination, which asserts that God has predetermined who will be saved and who will be damned. According to this view, human beings have no free will in matters of salvation, as God has already chosen those who will receive his grace and eternal life. This concept raises significant theological and philosophical questions about human agency, moral responsibility, and the nature of God's justice and love. 3. **Double Predestination:** Building upon the idea of predestination, reformed theology also teaches the concept of double predestination, which posits that God not only chooses some individuals for salvation but also actively chooses others for damnation. This belief implies that God creates some people with the sole purpose of condemning them to eternal punishment, which many find morally problematic and incompatible with a loving and just God. 4. **Determinism vs. Free Will:** Reformed doctrine leans heavily towards a deterministic understanding of human actions and events, suggesting that everything is ultimately under God's control and predetermined. This perspective raises questions about the compatibility of human free will and divine sovereignty. Critics argue that a deterministic view undermines human responsibility, accountability, and the meaningfulness of moral choices. 5. **Inconsistencies with Scripture:** Some critics of reformed doctrine argue that it presents an interpretation of Scripture that is inconsistent with the overall message and teachings of the Bible. They contend that certain passages, such as those emphasizing God's desire for all to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4) or the invitation for all to come to Christ (Matthew 11:28), contradict the notion of limited atonement and predestination.

I saw people give all their money to that church and when they were broke and used up the Door turned its back on them.
all I can say is that I was in that fellowship and saw many many lives destroyed. While I was fighting in Bosnian in '93 with the Marines, my wife, which was a marriage arranged by the church slept with the drama team leader. He was actually the guy who invited me to the church. Well when I got back something wasn't right but I didn't know what.

I won't be shocked to hear,if this guy was one of the people who rebel and backsliden from our fellowship,he sounds bitter and angry against us.

I am out of Temecula CA Potters House. I love my church.
Prescott church awesome this sermon here is false because they in sin
( Joel 2:25)
Greetings from the Netherlands.

I know the people of The Door and Potters House. They are not caught in any snare. They love Jesus, each other and have a heart for the lost.
Yes.
They a caught in a snare just as you are. Those caught in a snare don’t want to acknowledge it, it is a hard pill to swallow.
@@charlesc6443 What is the snare you speak of? I love acknowledging truths and swallowing hard pills! Just try me.
You would not be able to accept it as you are conditioned to believe you are involved in a "move of God." Truth is you are just like any other religion where they think they are better than all other churches.

I came out of a potters house. I thought we were preaching the true gospel. It was actually almost like a family of people and we did really love each other. I know the true gospel that the man Jesus the mediator between us and God (Spirit) died on the cross for my sins, was buried and rose again according to scripture. I believed on Jesus and can never lose my salvation.. super nice people but they just dont have the right gospel. I remember a pastor say that he says the sinner's prayer every so often just to be sure.. it's sad bc he was my friend and I really did care about his family
We all fall short., every day,...

The potters house pastors always encourage me to pray about decisions I make. It’s about the will of God
Because I am saved and born again, I want to do things for God. Out of salvation works comes forth. Like James said show me your faith by your what you do.

What church doesn't have a BBQ and other social events to help expose people to the gospel.

Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. 22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. Romans 11:20-23

Well when I got back something wasn't right but I didn't know what.
They had covered up the adultery. LOL. Didn't even tell me. So I invited my bro for dinner and my wife said it's not a good idea. Why? Well some things happened, while you were away.
Amen to this Bro, Glory to God! God is moving in the PH fellowship globally, there is no shadow of a doubt.

Ten percent is biblical. Do you believe the Bible? You should tithe. But they never say you will go to hell. Where do you get that nonsense???
If the Potters house is so right why do they have to fiercely defend themselves? Jesus didn't say a word.
I believe it is also worthy saying one's experience of transformation. From being a sinner to a follower of Jesus Christ.
This guy got a whole lotta sugar in his tank gods word changed my life at the potters house in west valley Utah
😂😂😂

Rest assured, the Potter's house is not of God.
It sounds vaguely familiar. I looked up these people locally - they say this about salvation:
Yeah, its true. Its a program.
They don't control nobody but they preach sound doctrine. Which doesn't tickle our ears.
I guess the HOLY BIBLE is worldly 🤔Really...It’s all about JESUS CHRIST🥰

I was saved before I went to the PH but, they said it wasn't valid because I made the decision as a teen-ager.
Potter's House don't preach what is being described in this video. So weird.
What gives the confidence, that you are right and they are wrong, if think you are are standing be lest you fall!
Because this pastor actually heard God's voice and that's how he knows he is right. He is not following a church's doctrine like CFM he is following the word of God! That's how you know you are in a cult, when it's so plain in front of you, but you can't see it because you are so blinded and by the lies you have been indoctrinated in.
Take you own advice Elvis
This pastor is crazie the pottershouse have great sermons

Why don't you just focus on preaching the word of God. What you're doing bashing The Potter's House off he/she said is foolish and irrelevant. Praise Jesus Christ and I'm out of The Potter's House right here.
I seen miracles of healings and blessing from that church.
My wife cheated on me with a guy at the Door while I was overseas and the church tried to cover it up.
Ok.
all I can say is that I was in that fellowship and saw many many lives destroyed.
People throwing crutches and wheelchairs right??

New King James Version
Jesus’ Mother and Brothers Send for Him
46 While He was still talking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him. 47 Then one said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.”
48 But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” 49 And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! 50 For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”
So family really according to Christ Is Christians
why should you preach religion . why cant you Just preach Jesus and the resurrection of Jesus this is what they teach How many souls are you winning to christ? you winn no body to christ kingdom
Because they are "baptist"
The door saved my wife and me!
@@EllieJadeOke maybe your church was the exception? The church I got to was a direct church plant from the one in Prescott. I have heard strange stories from some of the Potters houses on the East Coast and in the south so who knows. I can only really speak for my church. The point is this guy is bad mouthing all Potters Houses when there are Hundreds of them. They should each be judged individually in my opinion.
@@jdj2022 I've been to three different ones. They were all the same. I'm from the UK and there have been people from all over the UK complaining of the same issues. All of those people have found ways to leave respectfully but were outcasted as a result.
@@EllieJadeOke that’s the UK. Way different. I have no idea how things are in the UK. I can only speak from my experiences here. I know for a fact it isn’t like that in my church in California US. You must have really liked the potters house out there at one point to go to 3 different ones though?
@@jdj2022 actually, I was a lost baby christian and moving around cities. I was made to believe that it was wrong for me to go to any other church and that it was considered "church hopping". So I stuck with Potter's House until I grew up spiritually and realised that their doctrines were ridiculously wrong. Why do you assume that I 'really liked' being there? I feel like you have some kind of a bias to be making bold assumptions like that. Also, Potter's House is the same wherever you go, they all teach the same doctrines, have the same mentality and ideology. I've seen videos of people in Australia facing the same issues. It is all very much the same.
The Door is wonderful they have helped me with my walk with Jesus Christ, they don’t ask you to do anything weird they’re not a cult! If you call a church a cult cause all they care about is worshipping Jesus well then I guess we’re a cult lol Jesus is the way the truth and the life amen 🙏🏼
180 degrees? Like the repent of your sins or turning your life around? LOL They’re not even TRYING to hide their disgusting works based salvation!
Steven Baughman it should be more like 0 degrees because once saved there is no turning back.
Luke 5:31-32 KJV
All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.
Therefore all are in sin and need Jesus.
Jesus says He calls sinners to repentance. PS. Repentance is not a work, its a change of direction. God's empowerment gives us the strength to walk that new way.
We turn,
God empowers!
Repent = turn from sin (not accurate rendering of meaning)
Repent = turn to God (resulting in a turn from sin)
Hate preachers make alot of repentance and its dual meaning in the eyes of Christianity today.
While it has gained a significant following and has had a profound impact on Christian theology, there are several reasons why some individuals and religious groups consider reformed doctrine to be incorrect or flawed.**
