However, with that deal collapsing close to end of the summer transfer window, we'll look at a realistic alternate universe where the Argentine World Cup winner joins the club from Amsterdam.

I understand Atlanta United wanting their money's worth from the inevitable departure of Almada, but it's criminal for him to be playing in the MLS, the guy's getting to his mid-20's and needs to move now.
Lets remember the MLS lasting the solar year, so now they are at mid season just before playoffs. I hope he will get a transfer in January when the MLS season is over

What I think Ajax needs most is to give their youth players more chances again. Whenever a hole is made in the first team, they now buy a replacement, which can be hit or miss. Ajax used to fill up those holes mostly with their own youth academy. Now, though, I think many academy prospects are thinking they are not getting a chance to break into the first team squad, leading to departures of some really good players, most notably Sven Botman.
Sven Botman isn't an Ajax player. Great defender. But he can't play in the Ajax system. And it's not that talents don't get the chance here. They just can't bring the patience to the table. If you're good enough, you're old enough. We have 17 year old Hato as a starter. We did buy Bassey last year for 20+ million euros. He turned out to be a flop. What Hato did in that situation is crucial. He stayed patient and became a starter in the second half of the season. Luckily we sold Bassey for the same amount
Big talents always have perspective and a plan at Ajax. Vos, one of our biggest talents felt threathened by the new signings, but after a talk with the coach, he now sees the plan that Ajax has for him. Which is to defensively develop in Jong for now. And let Tahirovic and Mannsverk compete in the 1st team. Misehouy is also a big talent, but is at risk of leaving. We only have Berghuis at 10. It's really a matter of patience. You can even see it in a text he posted online. " theys ay be patience, but what if Im running out of time" fine by us, then go to the Premier league, see how that worked out for players like Hoever, Malen, Bergwijn. They all had to come back to the dutch league, but not for Ajax, but PSV.

AZ actually was on the way to win the Eredivisie in 2019/2020, but the season was cancelled after the COVID-19 outbreak and the title wasn’t awarded…
As an Atlanta United fan, and local, I can say that Thiago Almada is super loved here in Atlanta and is Class, i don’t want him to leave but it’s inevitable

What silders and difficulty are you using to get more goals in ai vs ai games? Also loving the content!
Great rebuild Flick! Do you have any advice for a couple of problems I face while doing career modes? 1. I end up with ridiculous amounts of money in the bank after a couple of yeras with no real use for it. 2. After 2-3 seasons my squad size is almost full, with at least 10 youth players in it, which I find very unrealistic. 3. As time goes on, I don't really have ideas for at least somewhat realistic transfers - I usually go for former players, or players from partner clubs, same cities, etc but still it feels iffy, and lastly 4. Do you change tactics/formations if your team underperforms? I usually do but it sometimes feels very unrealistic. Thanks in advance!

I've been getting to watch El Mago grow and excel with Atlanta United, it's been such a wonderful experience. He's an incredible player, and has elite mentality and leadership traits for a player his age. He'll be up there with the absolute best in the world in a few years' time, mark my words.
He actually that good you think? Remember Europe is a big step from America. I’m not slating him because I’ve never acc watched him play but one of the best in the world is an extremely bold claim. Be interesting if to see another world class player come through after spending a few formative years in the MLS, has there been any names who have since Davies? I’m British, don’t really keep up with the MLS much and all barring Inter Miami highlights cos Messi. Time zone differences make it tough to watch, especially considering I already commit a few late nights a week to wrestling lmao

Right now he’s the 2nd or 3rd best player in the mls, the only 2 ahead of him in my opinion are Messi and busquets. Europe ain’t ready for this kid when he shows up 🔥
