I spent two lovely days in Sighișoara & wish it had been longer. Sure it gets busy but by 5pm the tourist groups leave & Piata Cetatii is peaceful. I visited in May & would say that’s a perfect time to go.

I'm from Romania and I've been there! Not far from it you could visit Brașov and the Bran castle. I didn't see the Catholic church when visiting - its absolutely beautiful!

I was there in ‘91 helping with charity work after the revolution. It was beautiful then but beleaguered and struggling. This contrast now is wonderful to see.
Very nice video. But one thing makes me wonder: why haven’t you climbed up the hill by the covered staircase? You passes it twice in your video. The entry is near the bar in the wall that was so picturesque that you’ve showed it twice in details. It’s a staircase with wood cover and the sign “Scala” (it was on the video). First, the staircase itself is a monument of history and architecture. Secondly, it brings you to the hill with a nice church and the lovely view (if I remember well).
