Its possible that Giannis learned how to shoot in the NBA as a teenager. He wasn't playing ball at 13 years of age. So natural mechanics aren't necessarily there for guy with freakishly big hands who was still growing. His driving ability was vastly superior so he didn't need shooting as a priority to establish himself. Within seven years he had prioritized and knew how to fit in on the court. He's better than Anthony Davis the best super athletic all around shooters ever at that size. And Giannis is still one of a very few players in the league than can carry a team without a dependable second star.
