These types of printers are only good if your printing requirement is very very less

Turn off the printer and unplug all the wires
After 60sec connect all the wires again and turn on the printer and check

Since your requirement is about 300-400 page a month I will sincerely suggest you to go for inktank printers such as HP 310,410 or Canon g2010, g2012 , Epson L3110 , L3150
