I saw this tour when I was 16. They played in my hometown of Asheville NC. At the time, Asheville was a city of only 60,000 people, now well over 200,000. Back then, barely anyone showed up. I actually bought the first ticket on that date. Maybe 1,000 people showed up. I felt bad for them but they put on a good show for those of us that bought tickets. I'm not sure why they didn't cancel. Today, the Go-Go's could easily fill that arena.

I didn't even know who the Go-Go's were 2 years ago til I stumbled on this concert. I wasn't alive in 84. I recognized the first 2 songs, which I guess is why I kept watching. I had a "this is the girl who sings that Heaven song?" moment as I Wikipedia'd them while I was watching. I downloaded the Talk Show album. Got hooked. Those first couple days of binge-watching random videos and interviews were interesting. I had no chronological order of things so I was relying on Wikipedia and Belinda's hair to put the puzzle together lol
I saw them live at the old Pacific Amphitheater in Irvine, CA waaaaaay back when. Belinda was wearing a Dodger jersey. I remember thinking how AMAZING they sounded. Super tight! That type of chemistry is few and far between. I wish I had seen more shows back then.
Been loving these ladies since I was 11yrs old. My 2nd concert was them at PNC Arts Center in New Jersey. I was 13yrs old n they were AWESOME!! The Flock of Seagulls opened up for them. My 1st concert was Styx...Rock on ladies!!!!💖

I saw this 1984 tour in Birmingham, Alabama. Flock of Seagulls opened who were fantastic. Go-Go's were a a great live band.

These ladies have aged well...now in 2024. They were my favorite band my 1st year of college. Now I'm retired and still enjoying the memories.

It was a synth with a piano sound. In the studio it was recorded on a real piano, but they are too fragile to take on the road.
