    Every brand of scooters have had some defective ones pass through, it happens.. customer service for every brand has also had a few "HORROR STORIES" including DUALTRON or Mini Motors it happens at times, but not EVERYTIME!!!

      The JOYOR has been a GREAT scooter for me as well, I have owned my LR8 for over 3 years as well with out ANY problems. NOW OVER 4,700 miles, battery still giving me around 40 miles and speed still the same as new 27mph. (only replacement was the front tire from being bald)

    I am having a similar experience. Joyor will not send me Return Authorization to send back the Joyor F7 I purchased from california and received it 12/22/22. The scooter came with a few minor issues. The item looked used, the front wheel was crooked and rubbed against the front forks. The rear brake also did not work. I filed a paypal dispute today. I wish I had seen your video sooner. Any advice in getting my money back?

      I had a Joyor lr8 for 2 years that was great, put over 1,000 miles on it. The battery finally died around the time when Joyor said it would. So I had a great experience from them. I loved my scooter and am looking to get another.

    I had a similar problem when I bought it, I wanted to put it on charge, the charger burned out, the capacitor exploded. I wrote to the seller and they replaced my charger. They replaced it with a working one, everything was fine, after the first trip it stopped charging, handed it over for repair, they replaced the BMS board. Replacing the BMS board in Ukraine costs 2500 UAH (about $90). After replacing this board, everything is fine, I calmly charge and ride it. Here are a couple of tips for using ANY ELECTRIC SCOOTERS! To charge the scooter, you first need to connect the charger to the scooter, only then to the outlet, because the BMS board may burn out. Charge the scooter in a place safe from fire, because even the most expensive scooters can be defective. Do not discharge the scooter before turning it off, because the BMS board may go into protection due to the battery being too low.

      You say anything you have to first put the charger on the wall socket then on the scooter otherwise you can have an arc of electricity and grill the controller

      Different manufacturers recommend different charging steps, for example go look at the BOYUEDA company steps for their scooters.

    hey if you still have the scooter check the connections if one of the came loose had the same issue when I took the scooter onto gravel road

    If you open the deck you can check the Fuse near the controller . It’s possible that the fuse blew out it happens it happen to mines I had the Joyor S Y9.

    What’s the status on this scooter? Did you get it running? I have been told with any of my e bikes and scooters that it is best to plug the charger into the batter/vehicle first, then plug it into the outlet. I don’t know why though. I hope you get it working.

      That is the correct sequence from the manufacturers. Plug in the scooter then the outlet..

    Almost bought a Joyor Y7S through Amazon (30 days, etc.). Good video and Joyor won't step in to help? Perhaps customer service is worse than the scooter. But once I got my money back, I'd have said goodbye to Joyor. Good luck. have

    Nah I agree, thats really scummy of the company but from someone that likes to take shit apart just because, im like begging you through the screen to just open the deck of the scooter. Its really common for these mass produced scooters to just not be securely plugged, I wouldn't be surprised if the discharge plug coming out of the battery is just disconnected and if you can twist a screw driver and plug in a charger, you can most likely fix this. Your completely right to make this video and everything you said is valid but I hope before you take a loss, just open the deck and look around, the problem is probably so obvious a 3 year old could find it once you open the deck. You rode for 2 hours, the vibration probably unplugged something that wasn't plugged securely.

      not really, because my scooter from them is still great; going on 2 yrs. mine is the JOYOR LR8 and it now has 1,400m excellent long-range commuter real 45-mile range with a (2400Ah Panasonic battery) - unheard of in a lighter weight scooter- and 28 mph. customer service was always great for me.

      @@alejoiriarte1639 sometimes you get a little spark, and sometimes you get a big spark. This was happening to a lot of the BOYUEDA SCOOTER customers, charging DAMAGE!!causing the Manufacturer to start telling customers on their website the procedure on how to charge the scooter. The BMS is a very sensitive circuit board that doesn't take much to damage. all scooter manufacturers improve every year because of negative feedback. Look at DUALTRON!! all new everything,including repositioning the controllers because of complaints of burning. Solar scooters improved controllers, because the others were burning up. Like I said before I don't know about that particular JOYOR SCOOTER!! All I'm saying is, I have had no issue with mine, or customer service. I only bought 1 from them LR8,1 from ALIBABA
      SH-11, BANGGOOD website 2 LAOTIE'S ES10P, ES18, 1 from OKIDAS D4. every buy I made the communication was GREAT. One thing I always do to protect my purchases is to use PayPal, or Capitol one Credit card, never debit though it's easier to get the refund fast if anything goes bad with your purchase..

    its probably the battery...the battery is set up in series and i bet one of the connections that make up pack broke or came disconnected. if even one is broke or disconnected it wont work. the charger is staying green cause its not even registering the battery at all. seen this happen before good luck bro

    The battery connector probably unplugged, open the deck and make sure all the wires are connected properly.

    By change i ordered mine on Amazon so the delivery guy gonna come pick the scooter and they gonna give me my money back

    I do Electric Scooter repair I have a couple joyous test the battery first unplug the battery plug it back in it should snap at you which means spark I think it’s a battery problem I have two Joyer the controllers went out the first month and a half they were here I had to replace the controllers

    I know this videos old now, but you most likely had a bad charger or bad ESC (silver box inside). Basically what’s happening is your scooter is refusing to take charge, the green light remains green if plugged in the outlet and only turns red during a charge. Either way, replace the charger is like 25$ and the ESC is probably like 17-30$ (im guessing these prices)

    Willing to bet that the cable running from the power button to the screen got slightly (or completely) disconnected. That will exhibit this exact behavior. There should be 3 cables running to the screen.

    A few more words from me, most likely you yourself burned your scooter by first plugging the charger into the outlet and only then into the scooter. By the way, I have a Joyor G1. For all scooters, the instructions say that you first need to connect the charger to the scooter, only then to the outlet!

      I've had about ten different scooters and e bikes and have always just left the charger plugged into the wall full time and just plugged it into the scooter / bike second. Probably done this a thousand times and never one issue. These devices shouldn't be so cheap they can't handle being plugged into second after the wall.

I always plug in my scooter FIRST then a SURGE PROTECTED power strip never the "naked" wall. some plugs like the Boyueda scooter has those 3 even prongs that you could bump the positive to negative and cause a short circuit, they are a company recommending you first plug in their brands of scooters first then the wall.

      I bought my LR8 from them 2 yrs ago and have not had one problem with it. GREAT COMMUTER, and super range with that 2400Ah Panasonic battery, and real 28 MPH, German-built 500w motor!! the customer service was great.. the guy complaining in this Video showed anyone who knows scooters you never plug the charging cord into the wall first, you plug in the scooter charge port, and then the wall. otherwise, you take a chance on short-circuiting the battery, therefore, killing some battery cells making the battery have the dead symptom, or useless..

    I have to agree after owning a joyor scooter for 3 months it said the weight limit was 400 pounds and I am 185 and the scooter pretty much said I was passed the weight limit and the battery basically gave up.

      What joyor scooter has a 400lb weight limit? I'm 250 and the s10-s limit is 264 and it's okay, so far. Wanted something bigger but got a great deal.

    Just threw my scooter that I’ve had for less than a year in the garbage. Paid 800 for it. Zeros appeared on my screen and will not run. Zero customer service to help me. All numbers on the website are disconnected. Absolute garbage. Do not buy from those idiots. JOYOR IS GARBAGE. DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY

    This piece of crap should work out of the box. As with any electric device, the battery is the most expensive part, that goes for ALL devices with a battery. I suspect that the battery is empty of those very expensive rare earth minerals.

      Without testing the battery first by itself you have NO IDEA!!! sometimes scooters come with lose connections inside the scooter, he needs to open it up and check all connections and make sure they are TIGHT!! starting with the charge port connections.
