the way he belts "at much too high a cost" just smacks me in the face. He is SO good wtf! the fact that that and the high note weren't in the episode is unjust!!!
The perfect condition to sing this song is when you have anger boiling in yourself, in my experience (of course there are other emotions too that help.). It gives you enough power to plough through the high notes.
To this day it still bugs me that they have Chris dodge the high note in this version. That would show everyone that he could actually hit the note and would have made more sense with the plot... I still love it though, this is by far one of Chris's strongest performances technically

What's great about this version is that I can not hear any auto tune but the original version he sings, you can def hear the auto tune so it just is amazing to know his progress and how amazing his natural voice is
We have to remember than in season one when they autotuned him singing this he was only 19 years old most of his costars were 3-7 years older than him and way more experienced with singing.
