Just got around to seeing your video , but before they built that dam we we’re catching big trout on wake baits and a Japanese lure called Antrax , it’s a up side down wake bait along the rocks on the north side of the channel where they had a set of piles with a speed limit sign for the ships coming up the channel , that was the good ole days when everyone ran outside and we had no one around fishing the rocks ,back then , glad to see y’all catching a few , a few weeks back I tagged a trout by the dam 8 days later it was recaptured towards Delacroix , no doubt that the trout are moving back deep inside , thanks again for sharing your video

Wow beautiful trout and great to see folks release the big girls back. More folks need to do, then maybe would not need new restrictions.
Few people have all the money. few have all the girls and few have all the fish.. jon is Bill Gates of fishing world.. lol
nice - are you anchored and how deeep is the water.. what makes thta spot good beside rocky shore lines ..
I was just looking at that bait last night I might have to pick one up
Awesome trip! Good looking lure
Change out stock hooks to gamakatsu?
you was on the south side of the rock dam?
Bro !@@ thats awesome
I find it amazing how many people are having the best catches in a long time but yet we need more restrictions.
Don’t you love that beautiful water. You can see 5-6 feet down so imagine how far a fish can see your lure; specially looking up.
Nice hammer trout. Hope other people release bigger ones too
