In April, we Passed by Clark on the way to Pangasinan. We saw four fighter jets flying in formation (F-22’s)? As an American, I felt a sense of pride gushing through me. That feeling was short lived as I realized how close to war the Philippines and China have become and this gave me the chills. I’m retiring and already invested in the Philippines and am concerned about the future. 🙏🏼
That would make me proud too my friend; I served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. I love seeing fighter jets! I understand your concern; and it's a valid concern. But; U.S. and its allies have a strong presence in southeast Asia. Too many countries will come to the Philippines aid; America, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Canada, India, just to name a few. China will have so many enemies if they do anything. Plus, the Philippines is arming itself now. $400 million contract with India for movable land base missiles to destroy ships. India already made delivery last March. U.S. cruise missiles in the Philippines with the capability to strike China. 8 bases in the Philippines being upgraded by the Americans and U.S. troops deployed on them. The key in my opinion in keeping China at bay is building a strong deterrent; and the U.S. and its allies are doing that in southeast Asia.
BGC is the cleanest city I’ve seen. No homeless encampments on sidewalks crowding businesses. No trash or zombied out drug addicts urinating, deficating and stinking up the joint. BGC is cleaner than any major city in my hometown state of California. No comparison.
BGC is very clean and modern. It's one of the best places for expats to come to the Philippines to have a soft landing. Also, a good base to have if you can afford it. BGC is one of the most expensive places to live here. Have a place in BGC as your home and travel the Philippines. I just think people miss out of what the Philippines is all about by just staying in BGC.
Thank you. That really helps.
You're welcome my friend.
