Regular cell count per animal is essential here (e.g. with our new Ekomilk cell counter at 0.04$/test). By the way, interesting definition of Dr Ruegg for chronic clinical mastitis: it doesnt even have to be consecutive (e.g. several months in between still make it chronic, if same lactation).
