If you played this game as a kid, you know that this was the most difficult game ever created. The hours spent trying to beat the volt ghost gave me trauma.
I remember being amazed that I had reached the skeleton scene where they slide down the mountain on the trash cans but thinking, I'm not even halfway through the film
nah the hardest part was following wiggles i could never beat it almost broke my gameboy a few times because i was so mad i couldnt beat it i got so close everytime but at the last second he seen me and i had to restart
I remember picking this game up along with the red Advance SP in London (UK) and the guy at the store questioned whether I really wanted it vs what must have been Pokemon firered. Years later I would end up a huge Pokemon fan with the DS games but I dont regret picking up Scooby Doo 2. I think my little brain was sold by the giant poster of the dog against the green background holding up a "2" sign (plus the movie was awesome)
Just beat this as a 20 year old getting back into GBA gaming :) didn't have this as a kid but I loved the movie. Classic creep capers was the one I had on GBC and I loved it
I don't know if anyone else had this problem but I remember playing the game when I was younger and the passcode after Shaggy defeats the skeletons at the monster hive wouldn't register even though I checked multiple times that I'd written it down clearly. It meant that every time I had to turn off the game I had to go through the whole process of defeating the skeletons (which took ages anyway) again and I had strict time limits opposed on me as to how long I was allowed to play so I never got very far after that. I didn't have reliable internet access back then either so couldn't look up later passcodes.
@@HOTD108_ wtf is wrong with you? why are you telling me to “grow up” when i’m literally saying that i used to love playing this game as a kid. u got some serious problems, idiot
I still have my Gameboy advance SP Game But I had never got a chance to get Scooby-Doo 2 Doo game on Gameboy when I was younger 😢, My childhood would have been awesome if I had this game on Gameboy advance SP 😢
Every GBA game was the same for me and the fact the films were critically panned I went in with so much low expectations I felt like I watched the hoy grail before my eyes when I was 6
@@Insomniajayy What’s funny is that despite the GBA being seen as dated technology, the GBA code post credit scene is still on most HD remastered prints of the movie.
I could never beat this shit as a kid it was way too hard. I found it again at like age 18, and finally beat it but it was unironically the hardest and most frustrating game ive ever fucking played
Which game was it where they had the actual cutscenes of the movie??? I remember being stuck on the fight with Daphne vs the black knight in the grand hall with that staircase background.
Boy am I glad I played the PC version. Way better when it came to everything and extremely different (check it out). And young kid me beat it so it must’ve been easy especially since I was an idiot back then.
For my prospective they wanted you to believe the monsters that weren't seen in the movie were only used in the game but they used the original script of the movie we had ghost clown and the giggling green ghost and the orzak witch tiki witch doctor voodoo that has no Resemblance to the one in a tiki scare is no fair the bats make since but the rats are weird why not included spiders but i'm still curious to play this game if i can pass it
It has a password system so each level has it's own password you enter to get back to that level. I don't know if it was just me but there seemed to be a glitch with one particular passcode where the game kept saying it was wrong despite being entered correctly.
Yeah sadly I didn't think of that since this was me playing it for the first time in like 14 years lol. But in hindsight I guess the code was obvious. I did SDD because I thought maybe it was scooby dooby doo :/
If you played this game as a kid, you know that this was the most difficult game ever created. The hours spent trying to beat the volt ghost gave me trauma.
It was so hard tho :(
I just beat if and I'm 20 lol. Took me a while.
Really? I don't remember it being too hard. 🤷♂️

I can’t be the only one who lived for playing as daphne 😂
Wow the nostalgia is unreal. Used to play this on my red gameboy in the car.
Eh i have a similar story, but my game boy advance was purple
Same..
Yes! Mine was also red😎

Nostalgia is when you like something just because it's from the past and not because it's actually good. Makes sense in this case.

Scooby-Doo: Game Boy Advance Secret Code
SD2
Scooby-Doo 2
Scooby-Doo: (Laughs)
I remember struggling with this game for hours as a kid and this dude beats it in 2 hours LMAO

I remember I had a glitch where I couldn't get to a level despite entering the correct code.
"Hours"
The score in this game still lives in my head rent free 20 years later.

Was probably the Cs and Gs they looked so similar
39:18 Yoo back then when I couldn't get past this AT ALL bruh. I spent HOURS on this area, I was just a very dumb kid anyway so .
Yeah, that stage was hard back then...😅
Yeaaaaaaa I don’t think I got passed this stage cuz I don’t rembrr any of the levels after this 😭😭
btw the code is SD2, it will give you the actual canon ending.
OH, thanks...😅
The Miner 49er!! He was probably harder to beat as the 10,000 volt ghost. Flaming breath, and a pickaxe.
IMO he was the hardest one, even more so than the final level arguably.
Holy nostalgia. This and classic creepy capers for the gameboy were amazing
Grow up you manbaby.
My Favorite part of the game
53:07
And the stealth part too
Never really was into long plays but thanks to you your bringing me into them and making me consider doing them myself. Thanks
You’re welcome
I played this game as a kid! I loved it. The volt ghost was difficult but I figured it out.
nah bruh following wiggles was the hardest for me
This game uses the same exact assets as The Fairly Oddparents: Enter The Cleft and The Hey Arnold Movie game
Yep, its an coincidence that this game reuses sounds from other games made by Altron. 😅
1:17 "ah ah ah you didn't say the magic word"

Maybe you can order a copy online or something?
Even though the movie itself is pretty terrible, this game was actually pretty cool, especially the music.

The sound effects almost sound like the sound effects from the spongebob Atlantis squarepantis gba game. 😳
ppft, try Fairly OddParents: Enter the Cleft

I've beaten this in the past, the 10,000 volt ghost was difficult.
Researching all these gameplays are triggering me 😭😭
the electric ghost was the most fucking and hardest boss in the entire game
That was tricky but the Miner 49er one was the most infuriating.
Goated game
You know, this game is just really like Castlevania lol
Because of that I love it!
its nothing like that lmao 😂

The game is better than the movie i'd think

Did you put in the code?
No.
But, if nobody does. I'll play this and find an source for the code at the game's ending...😅

THEN WHY DID YOU PLAY IT?! LMAO XD😂
no scooby doo 2
Is this world record speedrun?
37:26 I always hated this part of the game, one screw up and it's an instant fail most of the times
It's a stupid move to hide the ending behind a code, forcing you to watch the movie. Why even bother? Tie-in videos spoil everything anyway!

Play with Velma?????
I played way better
I just came here after watching NC review, and now i remember my childhood, the game was fun
