  • Hey guys
I try out a twist out on dry hair for the first time using just one product. It definitely gave me more volume and length on my fine, low density hair compared to a twist out on wet hair.
Recipe for my DIY hair oil:
    30ml bottle
Base oils: equal amounts argan, avocado, Jamaican black castor
    Essential oils:
    Lemon - 4 drops
    Lavender - 4 drops
    Rosemary - 3 drops
    Cedarwood - 6 drops

It was so refreshing to see someone with the same hair! Low density, fine and 4a. You even have a widows peak like I do. I’ve struggled with my hair type, even thought I was receding and thinning. Now that I know it’s normal, I can learn to love it.

It's so nice to see someone doing a video with hair like mine. It looks just like that. Fine, low density. I have my hair in those same twists too lol

Shake your head, upside down, side to side, before you undo the twist, after undoing, before you pick it, shake after you pick. The shaking really help with definition and movement and volume. It looks good.

My hair is like yours. The frizz is real on hot days. Hard to get it to not revert back to frizzy all the time. Thanks for being here. I have done twists and they come out really thin too. I want more volume.

Love this. I get so much frizz and I will try this. I use the same butter but use water. No water next time.❤

I have the same texture hair. And always do my twist out on wet hair after shampoo and conditioner. Then put in a leave in conditioner. Then twist. So I will definitely try out on dry hair..in fla the humidity is crazy hot.so Mt hair doesn't last long. Great video thanks 😊

    • @MarthaMessage
      @MarthaMessage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Yes I've tried both ways and I always get more volume on dry hair. Good luck with the humidity though!! :)

That turned out so pretty! I too have fine below density hair so I understand the struggle to get fullness. I tried that the last time on an old wash and go and my hair was nice and voluminous. I think I may start to do my Twist on damp hair instead of wet so that I can retain a bit of length and allow my hair to have some hang time as well! Thanks for the upload it was very helpful.

Although my hair is longer I have fine low density hair also. I hate it!! Can’t do certain styles either. I’m gonna try my twistout on dry hair for Easter this Sunday. Hope it turns out as good as yours!!

Hope this works for you! I know certain styles just won't work on my hair, like mini twists, they just look terrible lol

It's Beautiful. My hair is like this when I twist it but when I pull it out, I cannot separate the curls because the curls just deplete, therefore I don't twist out. It just doesn't come out right for me.

My hair looks just like this with the spacey twist look. How do you keep them from unraveling?! Mine don’t last for more than a day without them starting to come out? I don’t want to use rubber bands but it seems like the only option
