I'd love to hear your take on Mike Myers' Netflix limited series The Pentaverate, where he plays multiple characters! It came and went and nobody really talked about it... Not spectacular, but it was nice to see him make a comeback. And of course, we need a Forgotten Failures overview for The Love Guru! I know that's on your radar for the future! :)
It started decent but ended horribly, and Myers' desperate attempts to get laughs almost always fell flat. A huge disappointment compared to his earlier work.

Hearing Joe loose his mind at the "we just need more good clean comedies" defense is sending me to the stratosphere. The richest part of that defense btw, is that so many people date back to the golden age of insult comedy at a time where you could get away with verbal murder. I have actually seen "good clean comedy" being attached to Don Rickles appearances on Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts lol.

Like Ryan said later, there's movies where the joke is that everyone's gotta cuss every 3 sentences, I get it. But we can't congratulate mediocre movies just cuz they aren't raunchy. Have higher expectations people
I think it might be because Wizard world was hosted by Wizard magazine which was a big magazine for comic books and entertainment but they went under in about the mid 2000s so the convention would then be hosted by someone else
I agree KotCS is bad but it’s better than this last entry DoD; and it unfortunately gives a sense of finality. DoD was not needed and it sours INDY’s finale by painfully extending it.
I’m glad to hear someone push against this Seinfeld hate and Larry David ball-washing. Curb needed to end years ago. The ones saying Larry David was the secret behind the show Seinfeld are just people unfamiliar with the show.
I liked the bit where the widow at the funeral is like "he worked at a cereal factory, HOW did my husband explode" and Jerry just shrugs. I thought it was just a fun movie. Nothing to be angry about.
