    Thank you to all the big tech for fighting against the right to repair and causing all the e-waste, making the world a beautiful place! /s

    • @Trip4man
      @Trip4man 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh yes! E-waste is a concern FOR SURE... But on the scheme of things, it plays a minor role actually. E-waste is mainly from olddddd oldddd stuff. Like CRT monitors and bege computers (you remember those ughh). I don't know if I can say this with an absolute certainty but I would say that plastics are the #1 concern. But it's hard to tell what is what in a 1 ton ball of garbage. Crazy things can be found in garbage, I've worked in a landfill. Some people even found grenades in the garbage! Grenades! I myself even have the remains of an AK bullet. I kept it as good luck thing idk.
      Lots of other things that cause concern like construction waste, steel pillars or remains of concrete. And dead cars. Those are big too

    Here's a technique I use to find a component on the board: In your example R7022.
    Connect to your multimeter probe a fine brush made of either some copper braid from a coaxial cable shielding, or similar, and swipe across the board until it beeps.
    Measure in reference to pin 27, CSIN of the ISL chip logically.
    A fast and easy way to find traces, components.

    • @paolomonai9511
      @paolomonai9511 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it is a good technique, but it is NOT effective in all circumstances. If you have a washing machine control board, there is a coating onto the PCB to shield from humidity. It is a kind of painting layer. And the coating is insulating...so schematics and board layout are the only means to attempt a fixing. Regards from Italy.
