“We ain’t that kind of church” “keep that in the stream too” We have been a part of your church for a year now and truthfully enjoyed having our kids be a part of your program as well as truly enjoyed the sense of community you were beginning to build. Unfortunately the comments above were truly uncalled for… spreading hatred towards an already marginalized group should not have been ok especially in a derogatory manner. We should be spreading positivity, community and love; very distasteful comment and even more distasteful to keep it up on the stream. It makes it intentional hate, but I was asking God to show me your stance on equality and last week he did. I pray you become more open to helping everyone feel comfortable at City Light Church and that the community you build going forward supports and spreads love to all… even if you don’t understand everyone’s journey. At least that’s what my God would lead me to do.
