  • We put the BOTE SUP Aero Pump head to head against the Manual Pump to see which is more effective and which is worth your money! As you can see, the aero pump died on the first use :(

I’ve got the Aero Flood. What I do is switch the pump to the single action once I hit 10 lbs. which helps during inflation. I’ve only had it a few weeks and already looking at the next one.

Does any air pump work with bote products or is the connection proprietary (wouldn’t be surprised )
Not sure if I need to buy one of their pumps thank you.

Can you guys do a video explaining the manual pump and the hose connections a bit more? Just bought my first Bote and it has three connection spots/? An "In" connection an "out" connection and a smaller attachable and detachable twist connection?

I just received my first bote paddle board and it came with a broken hose :( it still connects to the board and can pump but one of the threads is broken off, will this affect the psi number ? It felt pretty inflated at 4psi but didn’t continue to pump because I could hear air coming out while pumping.

How inflated does the board look before registering psi? I did hear that it wont register until 7psi is achieved, but will the board look inflated before that?

Great video... So what happened? Did they accept the return easily or was it a hassle?

We have one of the bigger Bote kayaks (the LONO Aero) with three separate 12-15 psi chambers. Tried using a friend's Bote electric pump and I think it was going to take an easy 45 minutes. The manual takes about 10-15. I have found that using single action on the manual might take a little longer, but I'm nowhere near as winded when everything is inflated.

Glad I didn't get the electric pump, its too expensive & doesn't inflate/deflate very well. I have the new Lono with pedal drive. I love it. I find using the manual pump set to air in on up & down stroke works til it gets harder to pump then switching to single action to finish works well. I'm 64 yo in good shape & I'm ready to jump in my Lono after finishing. Thanks for vid, makes me happy I didn't buy the electric pump.😎

Thanks for this video. I have heard some negative reviews around the BOTE electric pump and the gage failing so this seems to confirm that. I have a 2017 BOTE HD Gatorshell that dearly I love. I am looking at also getting an inflatable so I don't have to baby it at boat ramps and shallow conditions where it can get beat up and scratched. I do not think I will be getting the BOTE electric pump though. They should have tested this thing better than they did before launching that product at a premium price. You only get one chance to make a first impression and they failed with this pump.

I think I’m going to avoid all of the bs and get a hard board.
