Man, that feeling of being lonely in this hostile world. They have nailed the atmosphere with these current gen gfx. You are not bombarded with enemies, every encounter is significant especially early on in the game. Cant wait, a proper game made with vision, passion and love.

Nice to see several locations from the original game. Including the starting village and abandoned farm where you take on your first bandit gang. Really hope it captures the feel of the original. Especially the way it created the impression that the world is happening around you. Not just a bunch of pre defined encounters strung together like many games.

Been playing Metro Exodus (first time with raytracing thanks to new PC) and Into The Radius 2 a lot this past month.
This is probably my most anticipated game of the year, really hope it ends up delivering.
Metro Exodus has me drooling just thinking about what a Stalker game would be like with modern graphics. My favorite parts of Exodus are when it lets you go off and explore the open areas, and if this game manages to capture that same immersive feeling for even just 20 hours, I’ll be more than satisfied.
Also holy crap, the sound design is amazing. Every single sound effect was loud and punchy. The rain sounds overwhelming, the gadgets are all crisp and loud, the environmental sounds are all top notch.

These games can be placed next to each other in terms of atmosphere, since they were made by Ukrainians. Although Metro is largely limited to a corridor, unlike Stalker.

Typically about 75-80% of the buildings in any given area are fully accessible.
Just need to know how to enter it since some entrances are very elusive like from above the roof or in a pit.

Captured the feel of the original games. Hope they have the storms they added in the third. Loved that feeling of having to run for cover in a location but may have to hide in a den of monsters and wait it out without being noticed.
The devs need to make the nights darker. Looks way too bright.

Been modding DayZ servers into S.T.A.L.K.E.R themed servers for years. Played S.T.A.L.K.E.R years ago, and I'm STOKED for this one. Video is on point too, a nice feel, a peak here and there but not revealing to much. Love it
