I played there many moons ago on a Sunday. We beat them quite comfortably (god knows how) and after the game, their surly captain pointed us in the direction of the bar. As we sat down with our beers, we watched Dorking get in their cars and drive off! We never went back again.
Quite right. I played club rugby in France for many (too many) years. It did not matter who won, after the game and often cold showers, we would pile down to our local cafe and get clobbered. The Police de Paris side would turn up in a chauffeur driven bus and the after game boat races Etc were epic. Tough as hell on the field, good lads off the pitch.

True - but I have to say, in the 3 years since this match, the quality of umpiring in the Surrey Championship has improved greatly.
