I honestly don't understand the Minho bashing comments. I really don't. Everybody really gave their all in this game, even KHD surprisingly, but Minho stood out to me the most, not because he is my bias, but because in EVERYTHING that Minho commits to, he gives 110% to it. He may not be the BEST at everything, something he has already stated, but what captivates most people is watching how HARD he goes. He ALREADY gets criticized for not being as talented as the rest of his members in SHINee (not true at all). He is the VISUAL for his group. When he is told to appear on these shows, he goes. Point. Blank. Period. Whatever contract SM has with KBS and other broadcasting stations/networks is out of his control. They push the popularity of an individual/group to gain VIEWERS. That is the dark underbelly of entertainment in a nutshell kids. That may be why he receives the attention he does, in addition to the editing of the episodes at the behest of the PD. Is that his fault? Hell no. He scores the ONLY two goals (one assisted) that Cool Kiz earned, not to mention mustering up the courage as the YOUNGEST player and goes up to kick when everybody else did not want to. He's running up and down the field for damn near over an HOUR playing both defense and offense, covering where his teammates are lacking because they don't have the energy and stamina that he does (referring to the super busy schedules of idols/actors/comedians), AND he tries to intercept the last kick before the opposing team scores? Average? Give the dude a break. Jeez. As far as I know, he is not in a soccer club like Doojoon and Gikwang, whom, I'm sure practices faithfully to hone their superior footwork that is obviously apparent when they play. Using his father to play soccer? The same father who told Minho that he should give up on being a professional soccer player and that he wasn't going to support him? Sure, his father's title may get him through the door, but his skills is what KEEPS him in the room. Last, but not least, his super aggressive competitive side is part of his personality. My heart hurts so bad when the doctors just made that last goal. It hurts more to see Minho being so hard on himself. Hodong improved. They did their best. Although they lost, this is by far one of the most exciting games they had. Their two players are coming back too after two games of absence. Minho and everyone did well. FIGTHING!!!!
Minho is really good but I like how great a team player Yoon Doojoon is, specially when he coaches Kyohyuk hyung in the field and when He comforted the hyung who got hit by the ball.
Never enough Minho for me, and it hurt so much to see him gutted after losing the match. Football is a cruel mistress, when a single goal could come at the very last seconds. I was so impressed with him, though. He defended and moved forward, found good space, and was always alert for any chance at goal. He's not the best player but he was the best in this match when the others were distracted and all over the place. That second goal with the ball bouncing on wet grass is bloody difficult to direct but he did it well and got his reward!
Dujun and gikwang look very tired since they have very busy practising their up coming concert..but i relieve they still try their best in this match..
i think Beast was really tired...you can see it from doojun's face..they're having a concert so they've been preparing for it really2 hard. i felt bad for them. not getting enough energy and rest might be the factor they're not playing their best in this episode. even doojun realizes it. but i know BEAST will do better in the next game because they got the talent and passion for soccer. anyway BEAST FIGHTING!
I can feel their disappointment especially for Minho (and Hodong). Minho has always been the top performer, he won their game against the international team, he always scores in every game and just practically never stops running. I wouldn't say the doctor team is way the better team, but they sure are the smarter team with players who know how to use their skills. They saw Hodong was too far out after Minho's second goal, while he was getting excited and cheering on his teammates. So it was just smart to ask Jaeho who kicks well to take long range shot, not to mention Hodong is very weak at jumping save. But they definitely improved a lot. Hodong definitely gained a lot of confidence in his role, although I'd like to see him do more saves with his hands when the ball is low and slow rather than kicking it.
Cool Kiz has been playing so well,, it's okay they didn't win. Kikwang oppa,,don't blame yourself, dojoon oppa too, they looked tired. you played so good oppas, I noticed Minho almost cry. KHD just talks, whines, nags, stands around, and from time to time makes a dramatic fail save to look like he "tried." Cool Kiz has good players like Doojoon, Kikwang, and Minho but just because you have good players doesn't mean you have a good team. You've got to have good team chemistry like in FIFA LOL they've made progress but still a bit sloppy Minho does well but I see that his mistakes come from being nervous at the last minute. Kikwang can act a bit slow sometimes. Kyohyuk tries hard to be funny. Hyungdon actually tries but can't always execute well. Jeong's too impulsive. Jisuk defends well. They should work on improving their flaws before improving on what they're missing. Hwaiting!

But for this soccer team, they need a lot to improve, even though they have some good players like Minho, Doojoon, and KiKwang, but what they lack is a good team. They at least need some good feedbacks from their team mates too, all humans need that, so I agree with you. Having good players on the team doesn't necessarily mean you're a good team. But there are some comforting when they lost, so that's good, even though there are some disappointments for Minho (and Hodong) because Minho wins a lot, so they expected that from him.

Any opponent knows they can score a goal whenever they want by taking a long range shot at Hodong because, unless it is hit straight at him, it's going to be a goal because Hodong can't dive to save. The Cool Kiz team are actually pretty good, except for Hodong and that clumsy skater guy. But they don't play well as a team and don't communicate with each other. If they got someone who is even just competent in goal, then at least they won't concede those easy goals Hodong always lets in. Please take Hodong out of the goal for my sanity.

The doctor's ceremony was cute. I know that sense of humor well :) Man to man defense was definitely a good idea, because the Cool Kiz did not have much space to move and score. The second half was better. Hodong is only good if the ball comes right to him...but who wouldn't be...it's the other times that your goalie skills come into play. It's not surprising that the doctors won, because their defense was tight and Cool Kiz made too many simple mistakes. Wan's pretty good...smart to bring him in to replace "Little Jo". Minho always take losses hard. You did a good job :)

Gotta give credit to Hodong he played his heart out but the shots were even better, and the first two goals were from bad errors...nothing you can do about that. For fuck sakes if you don’t like that he gets upset over a loss, then fuck off. That shows he’s passionate and cares a lot! You see some professionals crying when they lose too! The more highly the person cares for something, the more it hurts to fail. Imagine falling in love with someone, you care a lot for them but you can’t have them because they like someone else. Wouldn’t you get hurt? It’s because you care! CUT HIM SOME SLACK. Even Hodong, I know he didn’t do well and it’s kind of irritating but being a goalie is hard! Some people can’t even do some of his blocks and saves. Sure there are better players too but stop hating on Minho and Hodong. Also, some of the other players actually practice! Unlike them, Minho doesn’t have the time to practice a lot. Stop spreading hate :)

Man to man defense was definitely a good idea, because the Cool Kiz did not have much space to move and score. The second half was better. Hodong is only good if the ball comes right to him...but who wouldn't be...it's the other times that your goalie skills come into play.
It's not surprising that the doctors won, because their defense was tight and Cool Kiz made too many simple mistakes. Wan's pretty good...smart to bring him in to replace "Little Jo". Minho always take losses hard. You did a good job :)

Gotta give credit to Hodong he played his heart out but the shots were even better, and the first two goals were from bad errors...nothing you can do about that. Wish Yang Sangguk from Gag con would play but I remember him saying that before he got a vacation in "The Human Condition" he never took a vacation for 4 years.
