Thank you so much for this post. Dealt with this pig of a design to replace the USB ports. BTW - they are custom by Singatron. What a nightmare but all working well now. Ours was slightly different than yours but your video (rare) helped in the teardown.
I tried to install an ssd M.2 drive on the motherboard of this laptop, but the bios refused to recognize it (HDD installed, but identification failed!) Just wondering what kind of drive you have?
La memoria RAM máxima admitida es 16 GB DDR3L (bajo voltaje 1,35 V). Hay una ranura M.2 en la placa base que admite una unidad SATA M.2 (no se admite NVME). También puede reemplazar la unidad de DVD con un adaptador para un disco duro SATA de 2,5". La próxima vez haré un vídeo sobre este tema.

cuanta ram soporta el equipo y se le puede instalar disco m2 o ssd?
