I had that Game too as a child but I never played it, my brother however was a fan of it but nowadays not even he cares for Rayman. I for myself was never a Rayman fan nor did I have any interest in the franchise but a Video from you is always good, no matter the game!
If you want a Rayman-like, you can try Tonic Trouble. It was developed around the same time as Rayman 2 so the team as an exercise in getting familiar in 3D.
I feel like I'm the only one on the internet to call Ly the fairy, pronouncing her name as "Lie" instead of "Lee". The first time I heard people say her name, I was like "who?" 😂
