He just showed up with her at the bonfire and next episode they were already together. AND IT WAS A NEW RELATIONSHIP. Then Taylor showed up. They had an INSANE chemistry, a lot of tension and she liked him for yearsss. At least we know how their dynamic works and why. There's a backstory. Shayla is good, and so damn pretty, but when it comes to Steven, I personally cannot ship her with. Also because he isn't even comfortable or himself around her.

These two, Taylor and Steven are not only the best couple of the show but they are also one of the best characters. They have crazy chemistry together, the made for each other type chemistry, and they light up the screen every time the camera was on them, I seriously couldn't take my eyes off them in season 2. They are also so fun to watch, and they brought the fun element in season 2, and they sort of carried the whole season for me, without them the season 2 would have been just so much drama, and very bland to watch. I seriously hope they get more screen time in season 3. Heck, they should have their own spin-off series or should work together in some other film or series.

It feels like her feelings for him came out of nowhere. Even though she is Belly's best friend and she grew up around him. The relationship with Steven and shayla was so new i wasn't very attached to the pairing plus they are from such different worlds.
I don't think Taylor's feelings came out of nowhere because as soon as he was around, you could see how much she liked him. They were bickering and teasing each other all the time.

It feels like her feelings for him came out of nowhere. Even though she is Belly's best friend and she grew up around him. The relationship with Steven and shayla was so new i wasn't very attached to the pairing plus they are from such different worlds.
I don't think Taylor's feelings came out of nowhere because as soon as he was around, you could see how much she liked him. They were bickering and teasing each other all the time.

Sure Steven loves and chooses Shayla but a deep part of him feel like he wasn't comfortable with her throughout the entire show as she's a rich and gucci girl. I mean sure she's nice but she wasn't considering the fact that he isn't a rich boy who can afford a luxury suit and take her to go eat at high class restaurant. Don't know if they will be end game in next season or not.
personally I think Steven was more in love with the idea of Shayla rather than Shayla herself because whenever he talks about her it's like never ever listed any of her personal qualities like you know she sweet smart funny kind like the only thing he says about is that she hot and amazing but I just think he's like the idea that this Rich fancy girl chose him

Maybe, but that doesn't mean it erase the fact that we didn’t see them building up/falling for each other. And there's nothing special in a love story if we never get to see how they get to be together because everything was rushed and offscreen. At least with Taylor there's a development and reasonable dynamic, which is more interesting to see.
