I learned a lot from this and I found a sense of relief when you made the point of not being too obsessive. I love making arrows and want to learn all I can but sometimes...aaargh...your lighthearted videos really help to keep me balanced to continue enjoy making them. 😍 thankyou

hi thank you for a great video. Can a very heavy arrow damage the bow. my bow is 32 pound black widow and i want to try a englich standard arrow but they are heavy 802,5 grains i usuly have 530 grains for target arrows. "sorry for my bad englich."
Hi, a very light arrow is more likely to damage a bow as it would be like dry loosing. Shooting a 'standard' arrow out of such a light bow will be a bit difficult, they are designed to be shot out of much heaver bows, I doubt it will harm the bow, this being said, I am not aware of the type of bow you mention.
Heavy arrow will not damage your bow but extremely light arrow will.as extremely light weight arrow can't bring away the potential energy stored in bow effectively,resulting in a excess of energy that damage your bow.although an over weight arrow won't damage your bow,the arrow speed will be slow.
QUESTION: maybe i have been navigating through your website wrong but, as of typing this, there is not much as in longbows in stock that you have. say if in the near future i would want to commission a bow to be made and shipped to Toronto Canada (where i live) how could i contact you guys directly? to be honest i may not even need to commission anything custom since i really just want something very simple yet historically accurate, maybe you guys would later have in stock? also to ask about appropriate height and draw weight for me. i am interested in English long bows and have wanted my own for a very long time, and i intend to purchase one as soon as i can get sufficient funds but, would like to know my options as to what is the best economical deal for me and also what would be good for me to start off with. THANK YOU!
