Hi Walter! This is a fun whirligig to watch. You are most welcome. I hope you are getting a lot rest, and that you heal up soon. Thanks for stopping by. Warm greetings from Wishram.
Hi FeinDining! Thank you. The smoke is fun. I recently added it after someone commented about would be nice to have smoke coming out of his pipe. Thanks for stopping by. Warm greetings from Wishram.
Hi Robert! Thank you. I like how this one came out. The smoke is a nice finishing touch. Thanks for your comments; they inspire me. Warm greetings from Wishram.
Hi Heidi! Yeah, the smoke is a nice touch, and simple to do. I'm working on carving a boat that I can make a resin cast from, which should speed up the whole process of making one of these rowers. I hope you are doing well. Thanks for stopping by. Warm greetings from Wishram.
Really nice job. Your painting is improving with each piece. Might I suggest dry brushing just a bit of the same color you have on his nose tip across his knuckles. It will add to the realism of the piece. Rule of thumb: highlight knuckles, knees and elbows.
I think the smoke is great! I hope to buy one of your whirligigs within the next two years after I get my basement apartment built. It will have a tiny yard out the door. 😊 I wanted wind chimes, but some people get annoyed by the noise, and I'll be right underneath two bedrooms. So I've changed to a whirligig, and also a windspinner.
Hi Lynn! That sounds like a good plan. I'll give you a good deal. I was thinking about something like a caterpiller with a lady bug flying overhead. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week!
@@ToddAndrewCole Oh wow! I wasn't expecting a custom build! I'd gladly pay for my favorite, which is the rooster. I haven't been to your shop lately, but then it could be two years before my "yard" is ready. 🙂
@@lynnstillwell2 Yeah, the rooster is pretty spectacular. I wish I had one! I'll work towards getting one ready for you in the distant future. Take care.
You made molds of the parts, right? So you can recreate something pretty easily ... My things that you made are still packed away. It will be a time to celebrate when I can unpack!
Love that, that turned out really good!
Thanks MyaYard! Shiny things are fun! Thanks for stopping by. Have a great Sun Day!
Nice work Todd, it will be hard to beat that
