I bought that exact black and red mixer several years back. I find that blade works so well when mixing lotions. Sadly, it was damaged in a move and when I went to get a new one... Out of stock. Checked for ages but never came back in stock. Heard someone else call it a Greek frappe mixer, so I looked that up. Nothing on Amazon but I did find it at a place in Cyprus of all places. With the international shipping, it was still fairly reasonably priced. What I didn't think about was the power cable differences Oops. Luckily the part of mine that was damaged was the actual blade spoke and not the machine itself. So just took the blade off the new one and put it on my old one, voila! Perfection! (when looking at it that way though, I paid waaaaaaaay too much for just a mixer attachment haha)

Hi Ellen. My first batch was an epic fail because my scale didn’t register 1 gram properly and I overdid the optiphen and vitamin e as a result it was too watery. But I immediately remade a new batch which turned out great. I used rose & frankincense for the fragrance and I love how great it feels on my skin. Thankyou for your great videos. Could you use powdered caffeine instead of the extract? That's all I can find... would I use the same weight? Love all your videos, by the way! I've learned so much! 11:06

Hello, i know this is an older video, so not sure if you'll see...in your video you said you can switch out oils and aloe juice for water? Unlike soaps...all these things can be switched out equally as long as the total amount is the same. I mean weight amount the same? Just for example...you could switch out olive for jojoba and not have to change the weight amount or persercitive amount?
I love this formula. I let it set overnight, and it looks like some oils are separating. I used a combo of argon, rice bran, and baobab oils. I also added. 5 grams of powdered vit c and .5 of moranga powder...it was covered but not bottled. I did notice the tiny bit I jarred for myself has not separated. I used murumuru butter. Could this be why it is separating?
Thank you very much, I made it today but replaced E-wax with cutina GMS is it correct?? I think it worked. I will wait until tomorrow to see if the merger was successful

Or maybe I didn't whisk fast enough and long enough. Please help!!
Thanks Ellen. I am very new at this!! So this particular recipe, how much cetyl alcohol do you think I should use?
Ellen, I’m hoping you can help. I have made this recipe for the very first time, but when I was adding the Optiphen, I was startled and added too much. It blobbed in and was about double the amount. Now the product is very runny. And it’s not hardening even in the fridge. I’m thinking you would suggest adding more mango butter? If so? Do you know approximately how much in grams?
