I believe Mark already said previously that there will be no book. He's openly admitted that he doesn't keep the necessary notes, and what he does have are so disorganized that publishing would be impossible. 😏
When i heard what the mechanic and a premise for this encounter was, i promised myself, that im not gonna cry, not once. And i, indeed, did not weep once. I ugly-cried, like, three times.
I was really hoping that they would just have a photo of an actual peacock in the overlay for Lucius Spoilers LOVED that description of when they entered the empty cityscape - I'm terrified of underwater, but Mark sets the atmosphere so well. Also, kudos to Mark for running such complex encounters - they're amazing - I'm still learning to keep track of combat with more than one monster.
After 3 months, I have finally caught up! What a ride this campaign has been so far. So many amazing moments and many twists and turns. As a DM myself, the world is really cool and I've gotten a lot of inspiration and the villains... The villains are all so interesting and I can't wait to see how it all ends! All of the PCs are all so unique and have impacted the story in ways that I wasn't expecting. Much love to all and give us an ending we will never forget!
Spoilers ahead. The moment between Max and Aila gave me goosebumps. Mark's storytelling of those moments is so evocative that I felt taken in each of those memories, brought to live them through Aila's eyes and through how she would live them. Mind-effing-blowing.
The star seed reminds me of an episode of star trek where the enterprise comes across a probe that implants the memories of a long-dead individual from a long-dead race into picard to show him the experiences of said individual so he could tell the story of him and his people. Also, what if the matrix is another star seed from a failed reality that Hadar consumed?
another Hadar? due to Marks story each reality can have similar versions of the same deity, the web of eternity being his version of a multy ficction universe where all fiction is canon selfcontained in their own web node
I need to get back into this, it's been a LONG time since I watched anything from High Rollers, any D&D campaign content honestly, I haven't even watch any Critical Role since like episode 2 or 3 of the campaign 3!
I listen while I work, and ended up binging both of Mark's current campaigns, the entire Critic Role Campaigns 1 and 2, and started looking for more... I think I may have a problem!

I hope that makes you feel s little better about it. Life is too short enjoy what you like. And incidentally I would recommend any of the shows on this list to anyone.
I absolutely love the studio! It looks so cool. But I miss the donations a lot. I'm sadly not able to watch live so the donations are always a way to make me feel like I'm actually watching live
SPOILER WARNING That failure by Aila could've been avoided. Instead of asking for Haste, she should have taken Luck. Then held her action to touch the pillar and infuse it after Max's turn. That way, after Max had given the pillar returned energy, she would have had a reroll on her Constitution check.
Foci is the plural! Singular is focus! Like arcane focus, that is singular. Multiple would be arcane foci. So when a Stormchaser gets near one of the pillars, they approach a focus. But it is foci that stand around the forge.

p.s I love this wish because it remins me of my equally as stuid luck blade wish moment but i really would like to see him turn back. It doesnt suit him that much and makes our standard lovely birdboy angry
Faiyeth is still on board the storm chaser. They're moments together aren't really talked about that much but they are important to Lucius. I'm not sure if we've seen her reaction to our new birdie though

Mark please, if you are going to try to sound clever in your language, don't ruin the effect by using it wrong. And while we are on the subject, Replica, not replicant, single not singular. A replica is a copy of something, Replicant is a made up term from a film and singular means special or unusual. Like a single coin, means one of many, a singular coin means that that it is probably the only one of that kind. I tried not to do this, but the constant us of Foci in the singular was destroying any enjoyment that you were engendering in this very excellent stream.. Subtle differences, I know, but they set my teeth on edge.
