Physical is just another level. There's a little experience to it. Everything is downloaded and instant gratification now, everything feels boring.
The funny thing about Mafia 2 Disc part is the fact that it requires Steam and you can install the game without the disc

Both have benefits for example certain games have physical cool stuff like maps of the game or figures of characters whereas some don't have that kind of pre-order bonus so it doesn't matter
Its awesome having a shelf full of games. But at same time digital is so convenient. So both are good in my book
But can you sell digital games you get bored of? I really want to get rid of Battlefield 5 and most Cod games...

I'm on digital distribution side, as Steam makes everything so easy to access. But I still miss those hard copies of the games with booklets, bonuses and manuals and so on... It just feels so much better to have it.
Nowadays most of the boxed PC games comes with steam codes, so you know, you'll get best of the both worlds but at the same time you won't be able to avail the mouth-watering sales on Steam and often ended up paying more.
But if the game is huge in size like 70-100GBs then I'll always prefer having DVD version. If no, then I'll end up not buying it. Reason is as I'm a professional, I got less time to play games, so it's better to have the DVDs than waiting for hours of downloading games.

Both. Digital is convenient, but I like to get physical copies of games I am excited about or really enjoy. They look nice on my shelf, plus nothing beats owning a version that is accessible regardless of your internet connection or third-party servers.

Depends on the price and how lazy I am, I do like being able to just switch games without having to get up and put a disc in, but if the game is on sale and cheap enough I’ll buy digital.
