- What's up Spreezies! We traveled to Miami, Florida to celebrate Phil's birthday on Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the seas. We heard that this ship was considered the party ship of the fleet and it did not disappoint. This soon became our favorite ship that Royal Caribbean has to offer. We spent 3 days traveling to 2 ports, Nassau and Royal Caribbean's private island, Coco Cay. In this series you can expect tons of laughs, memorable moments, how we act with out traveling without our son, and lots of fun.
In this vlog we we have made it to our first port of call, Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas, Coco Cay. When we go on vacation, we noticed that we have two different vacation styles. Dee loves to relax and Phil can be very adventurous, which you will see in this vlog. Also, we will share some tips that we learned along the way while visiting here.

Coco Cay definitely provides options. 4:20, we experienced the cold water back in January. Phil, I love the shades!! Dee is relaxing!!!!
Mozzarella sticks and chicken sandwichs are good. Dee is meeting new friends on the cruise. Lol That slide was no joke, and the life guard had your back! Lol

I don't understand it, but I'm happy if she's happy. If you ask me, you can read a book anywhere. Lol The thing about us, we don't mind giving each other space and coming back together. We are not the type of couple who has to be underneath each other at all times. Lol

Thank you so much. And the slides are a must but be prepared to get a lower body workout. Yes that's her thing amd she deserves all the relaxation she can get. This day was a lot of fun.

It was such an amazing day. I got a seat, a drink, and my book. I like the balance lol. One port relax and the other engage in festivities lol
The best of both world's...a little relaxation and a little adventure.

I’d probably vacation like Dee this time. Water slides and me do not go together, but I will send my husband off to find some food and a little drinky drink 😂
Hey Kimberly! At least you will be well rested. I'd be worn out fighting to stay awake at work when we get back. Lol gots to have the drinks then that is a must whether you're sitting and relaxing or out being adventurous lol

I love Coco Cay been there a few times on our last cruise we tried the adult area loved it over there too.

That's the good thing about CoCo Cay....you can decide to turn up or chill. Depending on the day, I could be right over there with Dee...lol I still haven't tried Captain Jack's yet. I always end up at Snack Shack. I should make it a point try it out the next time I go. Great summary of the day. That water slide looked so fun!

GM my friends. Oh y’all posted early so you can start your Cinco de Mayo weekend 🌯🌮🧆🤗. Oh darn. We got on tram straight to Oasis lagoon. So we had the Snack Shack spot and the mozzarella sticks were ah aight 😂. Would’ve liked that Captain spot. Nah. When that water cold; just gotta plunge in. When I was Dee’s age loved the beach, pool, water slides 🛝. But now pushing triple 20; the pool good for me 😂. Oh these folks partying in that pool 💃🏼🕺with their 🍹🧉🍺. Your pool music 🎶 selection is 🥵🔥. Oh Phil. How you gon drink down the rum in Dee’s 🍹😂? I had the mozzarella sticks & the chicken sandwich and they were ok. I didn’t see the big hoopla. Oh well had funnel cake too. Oh you had to pay at Captain Jacks? Oh you did the waterpark? Cool 😎. Them stairs is a NO 😂. There were 8 of us. 3 of us stayed at Oasis Lagoon and the other 5 went to the WaterPark. They should have like a $10 or $20 fee for folks to go in who want to see their kids/grandkids/friends etc. Put a wristband on the folks doing the slides 🤷🏻♀️. Dee I would’ve been with you BUT would’ve been in that big gorgeous pool. We all do what makes us happy. Have a great weekend guys 🤗
Good morning! And yes ready to get the festivities started for Cinco de drinko! Lol yea captain Jackson seemed really cool especially with the live music. She loves all those things, but from a far. Lol remember, if it comes up to her knee caps l, that's too deep. 🤣 yes they were partying HARD. The DJ had to yell at them a few times. Dee wasn't going to finish that drink had I not drank it down. That's when we I gave it to her she said it was just right. She likes em fruity but not anything that will put hair on her chest. Lol I agree on the wrist band thing. That's a great idea. Aye after eating at the buffet then sandwiches, cheese, and drinks, I needed that break. Lol I want to do the tallest water slide too. Maybe 1 day. And yea I caught a deal when it was on sale in the Royal Caribbean app for half off. Hey as long as she's enjoying vacation, she'll be happy with me So I let her be in her own element. This was December when we were there. It wasn't cold but it wasn't hot. Maybe low 80s. Oh yea the pool was poppin! Preciate the luv!
I like the cheese sticks at coco cay
They weren't bad at all. Some one recommended putting them on the chicken sandwich. I'm gonna give it a try next time.

@@philanddeetravels if you and your wife decides to go on one of the bigger ships (oasis class) Like Johnny Rockets do free breakfasts. On embarkment day, skip the windjammer and hit up the central park cafe . or try the Solarium Bistro

No problem. Glad I can help. It's just a go pro. Particularly my older one in this video, the hero 7. And it's without the waterproof case. I take it snorkeling as well. Never had an issue. Only thing is you have to be sure to shake the water out of the mic if you plan on talking.

I got to jump in the water, that going in slowly is NOT for me. Once I have done that I am good.
And I usually do too, but all around the edges the water was only like 3.5 feet so too shallow for all this body to plunge in. Had it been about 5 feet I would've jumped in from the edge. You can psych yourself out trying to ease in. I'd rather get it over with but walking in totally threw me off guard because I wasn't expecting it to be that darn cold.

I was supposed to be in and out with her drink, but between that freezing cold water, the dancing granny, a wild Bachelorette party and a couple drinks myself, I kind of lost focus. 🤣
