    Nice looking sweat. However, you must lower the flat area to be printed because of the extra height of the hoodie pocket which always gives you an image that isn't as sharp as it should be because of the larger gap between the print head and the shirt print area. The best way that I have found to do this is to cut a couple of pieces of card board (I use the sides of old boxes) about the size of the hoodies print area, tape them together, and the=n use two strips of masking tape and tape them down onto your regular Epson platen. You can use a little spray adhesive if you wish on the card board for some peace of mind but I usually don't. When you feed your hoodie onto the platen you want your print area higher than the pocket. Adjust your platen height accordingly. Add more card board pieces if needed. Print away. Keep your card board platen spacers for teh next time you have a hoodie order. I use mine over and over.>GATOR GRAFIX

    Thank you so much, I was wondering if prints could be done on sweatshirts. Can prints be done on shorts? Shorts like the material of t-shirts.

    Great video, thanks. How about pre-treatment on a 50/50 cotton/polyester hoodie?

    Hello, are you using the medium platen to print hoodies? We get the issue of the pocket being in the way of the sensor. The highest we can go is level 6 but that’s too low which makes the print blurry, how are you printing on hoodies?

      Did you fix it?

      Hello Joel, if you use a 10x12 or a 7x8 and turn it sideways. Or you can use a hoodie platen which is included in the Ultimate Print Shop Platen by Key Print Co.

    Do you have any videos or tips for printing over the front pocket of the hoodies?

    • @ITSuppliesINC
      @ITSuppliesINC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! We don't have any videos up BUT we will put this on our idea board to create one for this. To assist you now, there are two things you could do. If it is a large hoodie where the pocket is large enough to cover the platen. You can load the hoodie on the side of the platen. Then turn the image side ways is garment creator. Give us a call if you need further assistance. 1-800-771-9665 We would be happy to help!

    There is ink smear down the right side of the logo. Why and is it a flaw in the printer or did you use something dirty? It looks like ink was dripping down the frame.

      Hey Patio - Great catch! So actually, its not a flaw in the printer, its human error. Before printing your image, you need to let the software know what size platen you are working with and size it accordingly which I did, except, I put the wrong platen on than I thought. It didn't mess up the quality of the garment or destroy the hoop on the platen - its easy to wipe off the white ink.

    Can you print on the sleeves

    • @ITSuppliesINC
      @ITSuppliesINC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Anthony, there are garment platens (sold separately) that allow you to print on other parts of the garment, like sleeves.

    You set bad platen type in Garment Creator.. The printer table is completely dirty from white ink. :D

      She did that intentionally. It’s a way to trick the machine into printing above the pocket..
      However.. at a platen level of the the machine shouldn’t throw an error if the correct platen was selected.
      So in theory she should have been set to level 2 with having selected the smaller platen to trick the printer.
      Am I right?

      You are correct. There are a couple of ways to trick it but for the sake of ease for the size I wanted and for the viewers, I did it this way instead. Let us know if you have any video suggestions that you think would be helpful :)

    Hey can you do the pocket video

    • @ITSuppliesINC
      @ITSuppliesINC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Garrett, With the F2100 you would just put the image left chest in garment creator and lower the platen slightly. Or you could use a smaller platen (4"x4") to hold the pocket down better and line the image up better. We'll try and do a video in the near future. Thanks for reaching out!
