for the pen hack to work your need an erasable pen as it has exothermic properties which allows the thermic energy from friction to get rid of the ink so basically using heat from a lighter or any source of heat really stimulates this reaction!

@@nicolasboyd5013 there's a special ink that erases with heat. The ink has properties that make it react to the heat coming from friction from an eraser, but any source of heat will work.

They have that sauce at the Japanese restaurants, but I've also bought it at Target (YumYum Sauce). Yikes, don't ever dig stuff out of the toaster with a metal anything. You can get electrocuted!! I tried the hair flip and it's great!

3:02 Most likely they were using a rub out pen in the video not a normal one . Rub out pens use heat from the friction of rubbing on in , so it would also work with the heat of something like a lighter to make the ink vanish.

2:52 The way that they did this is they used erasable pens which erase when you use friction, friction creates heat, hence erasing the ink. So basically erasable pen = heat erase
Heat = Friction
Lighter = friction= heat

I love your videos and you make my worst days so much more bearable! Also the reason the pen didn't work is because they used an erasable pen called Frixion (you could see the pen lying on the paper in the video) and it erases with heat.
Tip:For Keewee use a carrot peeler and it comes off perfectly you can also use that for mangos❤️ hope it helped

Idk if someone has said this already but the lighter-pen hack should work with erasable pens. That's how the work in they first place. The ink disappears when there's heat. When you erase the ink with the pen's eraser, there's a lot of friction that forms and transforms into heat making the marks go away
Now that I think about it, I should probably clarify that the ink just looks like it's gone and it actually turns invisible.

You can make a quesadilla in the toaster. Take slices of cheese and put one at the top and bottom of the tortilla, fold the left and right sides first and then fold that in half. It makes a little pocket you can stick in a toaster 😁

2:57 Yes that hack does need a special kind of pen. They used Frixion pens, where the ink is erasable with friction. The pens are cool, but not cool if all your school notes disappear from warm weather changes or something rubbing it off. 🤨
