You guys have no idea how hard I worked to get this video out to you all. Thank you for supporting me! ❤️
Freen had me CRYING!! This episode was portrayed so well. Even Mon’s shaking of the head at the end where you can tell she doesn’t want her to have to choose!! Ugh! Neung was also an MVP this episode. Everyone brought their best acting. That deleted scene though 😉🔥🔥👀👀
That scene was powerful. I had so much to say but I didn’t want to stop it and ruin the moment. But yes I agree, everyone was bringing their A game! ❤️
That confrontational scene was so amazing. It felt like a greek tragedy scene lol. It also expose all characters, the way they are. Kirk is a bystander behind the mask of "nice guy", Grandma is so manipulative and knew how to take an advantage of Sam's weakness, Neung was doing it for herself only (she wanted to satisfy her resentment towards grandma. Took it as an opportunity when Sam asked her to help her), Sam is the most sensitive character in the whole series as compared to Mon and Mon is the only one who doesn't want to put a pressure on Sam. Yes, she may be a people pleaser but she's also aware of Sam's weakness. She is more afraid of getting her hurt than their relationship so she feels lost in the amidst of messy situation and has no idea what to do. The way she looks at Sam when she realized she's not ready to fight for herself...that was heartbreaking.
When Mon says "I can be anything you want me to be Lady Sam" I cried..even though that was a lie from both of them it was a sweet moment and a good callback from the writers.
I'm so emotional watching that confrontation scene and Sam eventually picking Mon then I realised Neung gonna take the bus or something going back home lol
Liiiiisten the actress that plays Nueng was going for ALL the awards during her scene with the grandmother. Loved every bit of it. So much anger and her desperate need for Sam to listen to her and do the right thing is so so strong.
I am so grateful that you put a different perspective on the grandmothers way of thinking by using yourself as a partial example and about being open minded because I don’t think I ever saw it from that point. Thank you and I love your videos
this will always be a favorite episode for me. i talked about it before but this episode was really the mirror of what they both are willing to do for each other or how much they genuinely love and care for each other (no matter how twisted the setup was). mon after learning about sam's past was so kind and understanding that she was willing to be kept hidden. i know it was a whole debate on twt when that dropped but i still think mon made a mon decision then. a wrong one but it made sense on her character because she knows how much sam needed her at that moment. it showed how they are only holding on to the thinnest thread and there was no way the relationship could ever survive in that path. the confrontation is definitely my favorite scene in the series because it surfaced who truly loved sam at that moment. kirk did not even care for her while she's a mess, grandma would not even care to listen, neung came back at the house because she knows sam is too weak to fight for herself, mon not participating in the argument because it's more of a familial issue then but she was just focused on sam and reassuring her from afar and ultimately, sam walking away from there and bringing mon with her. a really good episode that i feel like showed the maturity of the show and the production.
@@vickyreacts I have been waiting for you to give us the 411 on the access to care or need to try to save a life EVEN without a consent being signed. What I have found in watching a lot of international TV is that the person that consents is usually the guarantor of the billing. I agree that the situation here was twisted into family access and the need to save a life. I am not sure I like the idea that someone needs to sign a form before I get emergency treatment. Hmmm... I don't agree with Mon become a side chick. They wouldn't last like that, they are too deep into each other.

Cant wait for you to watch episode 12, this episode was my favourite in the entire series. So many hidden nuances, when Sam talked to Mon she was fully expecting for Mon to break up with her and she kept a straight face the entire time so that Mon could decide what she wanted without making her feel guilty, but when Mon said she would be anything that Sam wanted her to be all the emotions rushed out and she broke down. Also before the love scene Sam's vulnerability when she is looking at Mon, and she puts her hands down it's the weight of what Mon has agreed to do for her and she is constantly trying to tell Mon how much she loves her so that Mon doesn't feel as bad as Sam believes she does for agreeing to be the mistress. Mon shaking her head during the confrontation, Mon didn't want Sam to choose and that is why she had opted to leave, because coming from such cultures where respecting and obeying your parents/grandparents is equated to Godlike service, this is a very difficult decision to make. For Sam, this was especially difficult, her sisters leaving made things worse for her, the expectation and pressures on her were doubled and the fact that she loves her grandma who is alone and raised her, the way things ended the guilt would have killed Sam and ultimately ruined any happiness that her and Sam would have had.
This is my favorite reaction of yours so far. I love how you mentioned the impact of the camera angles conveying how overwhelmed Sam felt! Also, yes, thanks for incorporating the deleted scene. The music in that scene was so much better then what they replaced it with in the cut the kept. Also regarding the whole “ do no harm” regarding emergent situations. Song, like most of the character are most likely Buddhist, but in the case of other religions that have stipulations of not receiving blood etc. What are your thoughts? This was such a roller coaster of an episode. So much rich content regarding interpersonal relationships from the family, Sam/ Mon, and even Kirk. Literally, tears, deep breaths, and shaking of the head. 😂 A bonus was your reaction at the end. Looking forward to you final reaction. Missed a few of the one’s prior to this ep. but definitely will watch your ep 12 reaction.
Receiving blood transfusions is an important ethical topic in the medical field. Here’s how we are to handle it: If a patient comes in and needs blood, and they are unconscious or not able to give verbal or written consent, then we give them the transfusion because we practice beneficence. If they need blood and are unconscious but have some form of identification that clearly states they do not consent to receiving blood, then we must respect their autonomy and not give them any, even if that means they pass away. Patients can deny any treatment, labs, or imaging at any time for any reason though. It doesn’t even have to be against their religion, they can simply say no and we have to respect their autonomy and wishes.
I've already watched this series a million times over, but after I saw your reaction to Show Me Love Ep7, I started back tracking and watching all your Englot videos. Then I came across GAP reactions and started watching them. Even though I know it's months later and you've already seen all the episodes by now, I was still responding to you like you just saw them. "I know girl!, Nope, that's not gonna happen!, Ooo, just wait." Lmao. Anywho, I think I'm the only one who loved Neung in this episode. Yes, some of her motives are related to what she went through, but she also permanently lost a sister and lost another one for years. I think she's really desperate not to lose Sam forever and sees that Sam is slipping back to grandmother, so she's being aggressive to knock her out of it. Also, after celebrating Sam picking Mon, and then seeing that preview, I also was like "WTF! So we just went through all that for nothing!" 🤣🤣
Thankyou for the reaction Vicky. I still can't choose ep11 or 12 which one impacted me more. The ending of this episode was too dramatic for some people and the questions like why can't she just leave the grandma? I was frustrated initially but then I had to remind myself they can't relate to it because it's not what their reality looks like. This is the actual reality of so many Asain queers like me. I wish it was different but it isn't. Family comes first no matter what even if it means neglecting your own needs/wishes. I'll wait for the next one Vicky. We were all your face watching the preview for ep 12, Great acting in that scene at the end, guess grandma has more power over her than anything. She's weak for her grandmother.
Lol thank you! My reaction to EP 12 is in the community tab. I had to upload it to a Google drive because I took too long and Idolfactory started restricting uploads to the series. 😔❤️
I feel like Sam telling Mon that she’s gonna tell her she loves her every morning and every night is her way of saying even if she is legally married to Kirk she is 100% devoted to Mon no matter what
2:02 It's crazy how even the way she drinks tea looks like my grandma's...Maybe some drinks would loosen Sam's grandma as well!? How about a spin-off called 'Lady Grandmother's Jim' where they become besties and Martha gets grandma drunk and signs her on tinder or something...
Vicky, I just want to say how impressed I am with each new video by how you remember so much and pay attention to details. Just wow. Compared to me who can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday🥲
The medical thing, I think It's something to add more drama. I remember hear Doctors in every soup operas looking for the relatives in order to do a delicate surgery where the patient could die, so only the relatives could authorize.
Not really, it depends country to country. In mine, any surgery has to be authorised by the relatives or spouses because if anything goes wrong the doctors will be legally accountable so what is shown in this episode is true in my country. From the comments I read on twitter, this episode opened up a lot of discussions in Asia about allowing partners for same sex couples the right to authorise/consent in emergency situations which is a positive step.
@@oneandonlyhsn yes, I think that is correct with surgery procedures and for I hear in the US it’s in that way too, because there doctors are very careful not to be sued if something goes wrong. Maybe she is talking about when someone comes with an emergency from an accident or something like that I understand doctors would do everything to save patient’s life, but I think if they have to do any delicate surgery they will be asking for the relatives to sign a consent form.
Sam.. Frien, in this episode, crossed all boundaries, including scenes of pain and confusion.. and also love.. I hope to include the Arabic language for the reaction
i'll see you on your EP12 reaction! hahaha... I miss Sam and Mon, I miss GAP The Series, but as Freen and Becky said, even though they had sent back Sam and Mon to the novel, FreenBeck will still stay with us. This was really a great series, and well portrayed. The cinematic artistic direction, to the wardrobes, to all the cast and everything. It was really great start for the 1st full GL in Thailand. I hope that more GL's will follow suit after this. I know "Show Me Love" have started, I'm just sad that if you do want to watch it need to get a membership, but hey they do need funds on this things so I get it. I just wish it was the same as Idol Factory that they let the whole world see GAP for free, I mean not everybody has the means to get a membership. TMI, there will be a FreenBeck fanmeeting happening on 3/26 and according to the director, behind the scenes and directors cut of the Gap The Series will be shown on the said fanmeeting. And I'm so proud how far and popular Freen and Becky, the tickets are already sold out, though they still have the online streaming still selling, and yes I'm going to buy it I want to see those behind the scenes and directors cut. 😁
I never though you got speechless, Vicky, but I will look forward to your reaction on the last episode. I always value your reactions because you give a different view on the videos you react to. So, thank you… 1:09:22

I’ve been waiting for your reaction because you always have the best reaction and analyzation of the series. Edit: I just saw your response to one of the comments . I am watching your reaction to the last episode of the series. Thank you! You’re awesome!!
When Sam said she made a deal with her grandmother for her to leave Mon alone. The deal was that her grandma would allow them to be together without any interference from her, Sam just had to marry Kirk as well.
49:20 I feel like the editing didn't make the director's work/vision justice most of the time...There are a lot of great shots and stills in this series and he just knows how to emphasize the scenes emotions and I don't know if I'm even making sense...
Hello, i love your réaction. For me its one of the best épisode. I think freen and becky are together In real Life. The chemistry is insane and eyes dont lie. They met In 2021 In the série SCOY. I think the director saw the big chemistry and love between them and put them In gap. They are very popular now and everybody shippe them. And the director said all the love scène need just one take and a lot of kiss was not ask 😂 Freen and becky the next project its a another GL with idolfactory.
I really wanna see your reaction in episode 12...Put it in patreon please ...Even though I haven't tried patreon in any other TH-camr but for you I will if it's reaction about Freenbecky I'm willing to pay cause I know we have to pay be a member in Patreon....
Mqy i suggest that you made a reaction video for Freen and Becky's reaction to GAP the series Episode 1-8? Although no Eng subs it is very much worth your time,
"Everything really is pink or white" - Even Mon's "white" outfit still has pink ribbons/decorations on it. 😂 Great reaction to a great episode. I was really looking forward to your perspective on the medical issues and I liked what you said about it.
Let's think realistically, how are they going to be with each other morning and night when Sam gets married to Kirk? Lady Grandmother is not going to have any of that! What about when Kirk wants to be intimate and Sam refuses, will he tell or request a divorce and "ruin" her reputation? I know it's tough, but some decisions have to be made. And soon.
When Mon comes back to the house and cries while Sam tells her she is going to marry Kirk that cry looked like Becky was actually crying and not like her acting cry from previous episodes
12:47 I thought that when she said that she meant it as in the case of any medical emergency, her husband would be the only one allowed to authorize anything, cause financially, if grandma died, wouldn't it all be left for Sam?!
I’m not sure how it works in Thailand but in the US for adult patients that are not married and don’t have parents, the medical decisions would fall on the siblings. So Neung would be the one to decide for Sam in case there is a medical emergency and Sam herself is not able to give verbal or written consent.
@@vickyreacts I think it's the same over here(🇧🇷), but I don't know how accurate they(screenwriters) were on their depiction of a lot of things in the show anyway(I still don't understand/know what kind of business is Sam's company even?!?), I just based that off of her previous statement about the law and the flashback of Song's accident...I still think grandmother's whole argument is crap either way
Apparently that's what the writers were alluding to, and that is why they showed the flashback of Song dying and her partner not being able to do anything.
@@vickyreacts Agree but according to grandma in this scene Sam and Neung have no relationship and have had no contact in years so how would doctors or anyone find her if it was an emergency where a decision needed to be made immediately. That is why in grandma's twisted view, having a husband would solve all these problems
@@oneandonlyhsn That’s the thing, if it’s a level 1 trauma emergency then we wouldn’t even ask the family, we would save their life. Pretty much all patients that come in because of motor vehicle accidents come in alone. If the patient doesn’t need to go to the OR emergently but still needs surgery within the next 24 hours, then we have plenty of time to try to contact family and sign consent forms. Almost all of those patients are conscious though and can make their own decisions. But I will say that most patients that don’t have family or are not on good terms with them will already have a medical power of attorney appointed. We also have the paperwork in the hospital and a notary available for people to go ahead and appoint someone if they choose to do so. I’ve had many patients (young and old) that have a close friend or even neighbor as their POA or emergency contact.
Right, it made me mad that she flat-lined awaiting a stupid decision to have a procedure done. The girl would've still been alive if KhunStupid grandma's focus was not on being homophobic. All this power for what 😫😫😫.... Lmfao wtf 😕 indeed and as usual a pleasure watching your reactions
Wait did i miss something? did you finish watching GAP or you decided not to? i hope you watch the last episode cause the preview is misleading but the ending is perfect for GAP i guarantee.
Oh, FYI, the love scene was one of the first scenes in the series as you can tell by Becky's hair. This love scene and the conversations do sound like they both know that what they want is going to be tough to achieve.

I’m working on it. I’ve tried several times to upload it and it keeps getting blocked so I have to go back and edit it. Follow me on Twitter for quicker updates! 🫶🏼
@@vickyreacts Thanks Vicky ! so glad to hear from you !
We were all your face watching the preview for ep 12, Great acting in that scene at the end, guess grandma has more power over her than anything. She's weak for her grandmother.
Loved your reaction to this. I'm new to your channel and the reactions are really amazing.
The "At least give her a ride." I died laughing😂
Lol thank you! My reaction to EP 12 is in the community tab. I had to upload it to a Google drive because I took too long and Idolfactory started restricting uploads to the series. 😔❤️
Could you try upload reaction for EP.12 again please
I feel like Sam telling Mon that she’s gonna tell her she loves her every morning and every night is her way of saying even if she is legally married to Kirk she is 100% devoted to Mon no matter what
2:02 It's crazy how even the way she drinks tea looks like my grandma's...Maybe some drinks would loosen Sam's grandma as well!?
How about a spin-off called 'Lady Grandmother's Jim' where they become besties and Martha gets grandma drunk and signs her on tinder or something...
💀 I cannot with you lmao
@@vickyreacts 😔I can't with myself either...🤧
Vicky, I just want to say how impressed I am with each new video by how you remember so much and pay attention to details.
Just wow. Compared to me who can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday🥲

Is she some sort of gangster?
Episode 12 early please
I love your videos, i hope you react more to freen and becky, please
I will! Any recommendations or links?
@@vickyreacts maybe freenbeck i think about a lot (they have so many videos) and other videos freenbeck moments
😢 why cant i see the finale epísode react ?
i'll see you on your EP12 reaction! 😁
Yehey finally, here we go again🤍
Enjoy! 🫶🏼😊
Hii sis 🙋♀️. I'M tamil l like thi's series.very much 💕💕💕

There were so many things going through my mind that it was honestly best to just let it be. I didn’t want to talk for another hour because I could have lol Also I needed a minute to gather myself. I don’t know if you could see how red I got at the end there. That was me getting worked up lol

Hi Vicky, I loved all your reactions to all Englot and Freenbecky videos. Please, if you have time , can you make a reaction on the final episode of gap the series? I’ve been waiting for your reaction because you always have the best reaction and analyzation of the series.
Edit: I just saw your response to one of the comments . I am watching your reaction to the last episode of the series. Thank you! You’re awesome!!
🥰🥰🥰🥰 I’m glad you found the Google drive! 🙌🏼
When Sam said she made a deal with her grandmother for her to leave Mon alone. The deal was that her grandma would allow them to be together without any interference from her, Sam just had to marry Kirk as well.
Momento de deprimirnos xd
De verdad 🥺😂
Mon was willing to be the mistress in this situation...
Wait where’s the last one.?
You can find it under the pinned comment or in the description box 🫶🏼
Director cut?not seen?
🤣🤣🤣 they just keep sending her to do some random issh🤣🤣🤣
49:20 I feel like the editing didn't make the director's work/vision justice most of the time...There are a lot of great shots and stills in this series and he just knows how to emphasize the scenes emotions and I don't know if I'm even making sense...
Hello, i love your réaction.
For me its one of the best épisode.
I think freen and becky are together In real Life. The chemistry is insane and eyes dont lie. They met In 2021 In the série SCOY. I think the director saw the big chemistry and love between them and put them In gap. They are very popular now and everybody shippe them.
And the director said all the love scène need just one take and a lot of kiss was not ask 😂
Freen and becky the next project its a another GL with idolfactory.
That Pink !!!!! 🤪
Great reaction to a great episode. I was really looking forward to your perspective on the medical issues and I liked what you said about it.
Am I the only one who can’t find your reaction to final ep12 ?

@@vickyreacts okay thank you so much ☺️
Hai vicky we are waiting for your reaction to Englot next Video from Pm Variety😊
implied consent I think was term you were looking for
Yes thank you!!
And soon.
Exactly why I said they’re not thinking this all the way through! I agree with all your points.
In short she is asking mon to be her mistress and Mon says she can be anything Sam wanted her to be
This doctor is a heartless 😮
Wait did i miss something? did you finish watching GAP or you decided not to? i hope you watch the last episode cause the preview is misleading but the ending is perfect for GAP i guarantee.
