I quite like cameras that work... but you also need to help them along a bit! I have a Kodak EasyShare DX6340 where the lens sometimes needs a little help opening and it sometimes doesn't want to turn on. But it actually has improved with use! It probably just needed waking up. I also have an Exilim Z1000 that takes photos with glitches all over the image. But it's a sort of cool effect.
Hi Johny! I only have a few cameras that do not function, most are due to electronics just getting old. in the 90s they used some bad capacitors. I have the same Pentax K-r, I bought it after my Pentax KP's sd card stopped reading any cards, cameras functions, but no way to store images... I am going to see if I can get it fixed. Great collection, hopefully some will function when given the proper battery. Thanks for sharing!
I also hoard bag of broken cameras with stuck lens or smashed screens, keeping em to make one out of two. Tho as idea about kodaks and some old nikons that have external power input,i have few with missing batteries and broken battery doors so i use power bank with usb to psp barrel plug and i can shoot with it.

Yes, i hope that too :) I successfuly used a Pentax K-X in 2010-2015 period, what a great camera. Then i moved to Canon Full Frame.. thanx a lot!
Did you try a manual K mount lens on the K-r in manual mode “green setting”? They are prone to aperture block when a capacitor goes bad.

@@NVM5x86 yes, some of them can be used but i think i have too many :))
Hi! I think the Olympus C-160 only uses standard type XD card. M, M+, H type card not working.
@@sanvital245 oh, perfect. So it might work :) i will find a standard XD card... thanx a lot!
The Nikon 775 works with 2cr5 lithium batteries, and it has a DC in plug. I also have a broken one, lens stuck.
@@sanvital245 ok..
That tiny camera looks similar to the Praktica Micropix. -- The manual of a camera similar to the Praktica Slimpix mentions Mini A USB cable.
